Can anyone tell me how earning money from the red zones works?

I know it puts stacks of cash into the vault that need to be laundered, but how much money goes in/how often to the vault? I've had some give me 200k in the same length of time as others have apparently given me 60k.

This is an answer from my experience.

The way the money spawn thingy works are:

• Every half an hour or so a new batch of money stacks spawns.
  
• Depending on the number of people online, the amount that spawns in the zone varies.
  
• I'm unsure about this, but, every zone has a different amount of money that's going to spawn, for example:
  Lighthouse has a tendency to generate more money than Church and Castle, in the same amount of time.
