can't connect to teamspeak

so basically I've been having this issue for the past 3 weeks now where when I try to connect to the RPUK teamspeak, it won't let me, the message that the log gives me when I try is,

<14:38:23> Trying to resolve hostname ts.roleplay.co.uk
<14:38:26> Trying to connect to server on ts.roleplay.co.uk
<14:38:31> Failed to connect to server

I have tried other teamspeak servers, and it works fine,

now, I have tried reinstalling, new identity and everything but still nothing.

now I have to mention that I have tried sharing my phone internet using the hotspot, and I did manage to connect to teamspeak around 3AM today, but as soon as I changed my internet back to my own, I got back to where I started, using my phone internet is not an option, because it's really expensive and I get more than 200 ping, so if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Few things I'd suggest you try,

1. Try connecting with the address of 94.23.152.59

2. Open Command prompt (Press the windows key & R, type cmd in the box that opens) and type...

Code:
tracert -h 15 ts.roleplay.co.uk
Screenshot the output and respond with it here.

Try once more with this command

Code:
tracert ts.roleplay.co.uk
It will try with 30 jumps this time to see if it can make the connection

I had similar problems. My isp was blocking certain websites like nzxt.com which made it impossible for me to use nzxt cam. To solve it, I simply changed my DNS. I think it might be worth a try:

More info on their website: https://1.1.1.1/dns/

Tbh I've used it for months on my phone and a good few weeks on the PC and haven't had any issues since. Server works fine and it doesn't slow down my internet at all

Changing your DNS may work though you do in some cases you do receive a small hit in latency & your upload/download speed though the change is so small that it's often not a problem.

if you were thinking about changing it, I would personally use Google's PublicDNS https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/

tbh these guys are claiming to have the fastest DNS out there and I gotta admit from experience that havent' had latency/speed issues

From the second tracert that you ran, you do in fact make it all the way to an OVH cluster. So, you've reached the server, but something is preventing you connecting to the TS3 virtual server itself it would seem.

Try connecting to 94.23.152.59:9987 (Same IP As before, but with the port this time)

might be silly but worth mentioning, are running the latest version of ts?

Ive had this issue as well, my fix was very simple, its your router which is the problem, connect to TS let it say failed to connect, as soon as it says failed to connect open task manager and end task of TS3, now reopen TS3 and it should work.

I tried DNS and the IP plus the port, it didn't work, I have no idea what to do really
