change the way cars with engines located at the back are fixed

At the moment when you fix a car what has a engine at the back it always opens the hood and keeps the boot closed, this makes no sense in my opinion 
I'm not sure if this applies on all cars with a engine located at the back but from my experience with the Audi R8 the hood opens instead of the boot

if the cars that had a engine at the back could in someway have the boot open instead of the hood that would be a great little addition and I'm sure mechanics would like that as well
