Hey guys!

I have been playing as NHS Mountain Rescue for a while now and noticed a common issue:

People falling off mountains and cliffs and getting to places where they are unable to be rescued by foot/rescued by a car in a realistic way. In my opinion, if someone rolls down a mountain with their car and needs assistance, driving down the same steep hill that killed them should not be an option for the rescuers/their friends (or at least it shouldn't be the main way players rescue their friends).

Therefore, my suggestion is adding some sort of climbing equipment - either equipment that just connects to the ground or equipment that connects to the car.

The equipment should be basically a cable that prevents you from rolling down the hill when walking and allows you to rescue people in a more realistic way.

Let me know what you guys think 😄

As much as I would like to see this being implemented, I would think it would he fairly hard to implement mechanically, how steep inclines could you go up? How would the game determine if you're going up a rocky hill or a straight up wall? I can offer some advice which is that aiming a weapon makes you going to the surface much better.

Thank you for taking the time to make this suggestion.

Unfortunately, I am going to be rejecting this suggestion for the following reason(s):
  • Lack of community support.
  • This isn't something I feel is worth prioritising at this time.
Rejection does not always mean we would not consider the idea in future, so if you or anyone else disagrees and believes this would be a good idea, please feel free to make a new suggestion to gauge further community feedback.
