(Dev Question) What are you able to make into a gang base?

Is there a requirement of a structure having a door or being composed of a single prop (ie barracks, towers) in order for it to be a gang base?
I have been experimenting on the Eden Editor for the past couple of days and a bit of guidance as to what the limitations on gang bases are would be much appreciated, many thanks in advance.

I don’t think there would be any specific requirements. Just a generalisation like the DMT towers. Industrial Sheds and the HMS. Not sure if the Domes are gang bases or personal. 
 

Doubt the Devs would differentiate to other buildings that aren’t already gang bases. 
 

Would be pretty gnarly to see a brand new Gang Base though! #DownWithTheHMS

Not sure if the Domes are gang bases or personal. 

There are larger domes and smaller domes. The one in Poseidon base is smaller some which is personal(prestige 3)(However cannot be owner), along with 3 in the military compound on the south east side. Then the others in that compound and the one near plebs tower by AW are all larger and gang domes (prestige 5)
