Do I need to be whitelisted to join Altis Life 1?

So I have registered on the website and entered my steam id but all I get is stuck on this screen when I try to join the server.

You do not have to be whitelisted to join the server.

You need to press the Civillian [Purple] To play, if u want to play As Medic / police then u need to apply

You guys see the puush? I mean I am just stuck at the arma 3 black screen when i join thru a3 launcher, I think something is broke x.x

To be a civillian, you don't need to be whitelisted. Anyone can play on as it (unless you have been banned). To be whitelisted as Police or NHS, you need to make an application (Put lots of detail in it!). Hover above 'Support' in the forums and where it says 'Altis Police Application' and 'Altis NHS Application' you can fill that out, then do the relevant things afterwards. Hope this helps.
