Dont use mods?

Ive nearly over 300 hours on arma 3 about 80% of that is playing the server but i always here that we dont use mods but how are you able to put your hands up and drag people and lock cars and houses and have masks that cover your name, even show your name. I havent much experience in regular arma 3 but i dont think thats possible in the base game so how is it done?

Through the use of Armas SQF scripting language.

Scripting can do pretty much anything bar adding new animations or models etc.

Things like surrendering and dragging are animations currently available.
