Abdul Jabari was born in Sudan and raised as a child soldier during the civil war. He experienced more terror and danger than any child should ever witness: Including having witnessed the murder of his parents at the hands of the incumbent military regime. The only escape young Abdul could find was in the arms of the Qur'an, the only holy book allowed by the government. He tried to understand this book in hopes of finding a just reason to current situation within his country.

As the years passed by, not much seemed to change. Abdul, aged by abuse and pain, had become disillusioned by the war but unfortunately he had not become numb to it. At his first opportunity, Abdul escaped from Sudan with the help of the British Red Cross. He stayed with them for the subsequent years, travelling the world and learning how to help victims of war and poverty. Travelling the world exposed Abdul to many different cultures and languages: he is fluent in English, Spanish and French whilst being conversational in German and Arabic.

To this day, Abdul claims that his faith in Allah is what lead to his salvation and purpose in life.

Essentially trained as a combat medic, Abdul left the British Red Cross with his eyes set on the small island of Altis. This new place had so much potential yet it's people were suffering. Whilst waiting to receive training from the NHS and become a licensed doctor, Dr. Abdul Jabari established 'Doctors without Borders' with the help of his friend and fellow immigrant Dr. Awad al Nawaz.

Doctors without Borders helps the civilians of Altis in times of war and provides support to those who need it. Both Dr. Jabari and Dr. Nawaz are proficient in combat, guerilla warfare and of course, medicine.

If you see him on the island be sure to say Hello (or Hola / Salut / Hallo / Merhaban)

Glad to have your admirable organization represented on the Island!

If you see the AAN around don't be shy to come talk again 😀
