Dynamic drug selling

I propose a dynamic drug selling market where different drugs fluctuate in price independently throughout the day but also based on location.

For example, there may be a high demand for cocaine at Mount Haan for an hour then demand gradually switches to somewhere else. Then as more cocaine gets sold the demand for cocaine across the whole city gradually reduces and another drug increases.

Pros

This would force gangs to interact and roleplay more with other gangs to gain information on the best drug and place to sell at the time.

Force people to sell more drugs other than cocaine leading to more organisation needed across a gang. For example, 2 people focus coke, 2 focus weed and 2 focus heroin.

Make people move around the island more instead of being able to sell around the same block for the entire day.

Houses and storage containers would be used more as people store the drugs that aren’t in high demand at the moment. This can lead to better police rp in terms of raids.

Cons

Would require balance changes such as selling price to reflect the increased workload.

 
Interesting thought. Would definitely bring a change to the crim drug side of things. Since there are different drugs available in the city, but the extra time investment to outcome doesn't make it worth the time spent making the drugs. The idea of rotating the areas of what is more lucrative where is a nice thought too, but could not lead to the gangs communicating who is the best turf at the moment since gangs don't usually mingle much. Since turf tax is a thing and gang usually rival each other, coming together to make money would be difficult for some.Interesting thought. The idea is that gangs which are well organised and with good relations will be able to more lucratively sell drugs than gangs which only fight and make enemies.

In terms of turf tax I imagine it will be a case of you can use our turf if we can use yours, and smaller gangs and lone players will remain the same way they are now and have to pay tax.

But the extra time investment to outcome doesn't make it worth the time spent making the drugs.
This is why there would need to be a balance change to the selling price of drugs to reflect the increased time and effort.
