Speaking from a lawyers point of view, there is no deal. A situation where one of the parties makes a mistake that is clearly identifiable is a mistake (for example: asking price 1 million, bid 10 million), the party making the mistake will not have made his or her decision with full awareness of the situation, thus making any deal illegitimate. A deal requires two parties with full awareness of the situation and willing to make the deal that is on the table. One party making a clear mistake on either the bidding or asking side means that party is not fully aware and willing.
