Hello back home!
I have arrived safely, the flight was uneventful, what can I say about Altis? I quickly warmed to its beautiful countryside, its glorious. Its an Island of contrast, I also learnt its population are like vultures. Theft is rife, common crimes go unnoticed and one is most likely to be robbed at gunpoint buying the limited clothes, tools or medicine in the local high street. The safest place to be is the garages, people seem to respect each others cars a little. Speaking of which, I have purchased a lovely red pickup truck. It holds plenty in the back and can cruise over the bumpy gravel roads here, I have had a couple of crashes but nothing to worry about, the medics here drive like crazy people (as does everyone here) but they only had to revive me once or twice. They cant tell me why my vision keeps going all flickered though and their choice of treatment although sweet is a little unorthodox.
Generally I'm well, I have enough to eat and there is plenty of work here. I'm yet to find something worth sticking to but this place feels like it changes every 4 hours or so, I'm just enjoying a bit of everything right now. Some things pay better than others but safety is more important sometimes. I've been robbed a couple of times so I've bought a gun and learnt to only carry what I need. I need to get a headcam though, it seems the police will only do something if you have hard evidence, especially if the person has done something that could see them being deported. The police are mostly fair, there seems to be some corruption, I was detained for questioning in a field when a gang arrived and the police let them rob me before setting me free. Other officers seem to have more integrity though so I'm not sure about them at the moment.
Either way, no one really seems to have noticed my arrival yet. It will be time to make the necessary moves soon.
I'm going fishing in my boat later, I'll try to get a photo of the sunset for you. I'll write again soon.
