go to Fivem client, this is a separate thing to just base GTA V, making sure steam is open in the background, then you can search in direct connect the code above. xaamj5, if you need any help in getting the fivem client there are plenty of youtube videos on how to get it and set it up correctly.

to answer your question: You need all of the following:
1- a copy of GTAV already installed. Doesn't matter whether that's a Rockstar Launcher, Steam or Epic Games version.
2 - Steam, just needs to be running in the background (used for authentication)
3 - a copy of Fivem (from https://fivem.net/) installed and configured to know where to find your GTAV data folder.
Then you just run FiveM, and join our server. Quickest way to find us is to go to the Direct Connect tab and type in our server short-code, which is xaamj5 Then, once joined, create a character, enter the game. (Currently it's best to log out again immediately, close and restart FiveM and rejoin our server one more time, then all the uniforms and player-names work properly. Temporary bug, will be fixed). Probably also worth adding our server to your Favorites tab in FiveM so you can find us fast, too. Hope this answers your question!
