How do i join the server it keeps saying ur not white listed

I have tried to join the server and its not letting me saying your not white listed what do I do its my first time trying to join it

You are trying to join either Blufor (Police) or Indfor (Medics) slots.

Civilian player slots are not whitelisted and can be joined by anyone.

@Tankwill its a common mistake, just select a civ slot (the purple colours)
