How to check maximum Ram speed

So, i'm getting some new ram and i was wondering how would i check the maximum amount of Ram speed my computer can support? I've been told to check with cpuz but i can't find what max MXHZ my PC can support

Check what motherboard you have, after that a quick google of your motherboard would tell you what it can support.

^^ Adding on to this - motherboards often specifically state which brand, item from the brand as well as the speed which it can support.
