How to fix Shadowplay or a free alternative?

I have been using Shadowplay for a couple weeks but I just noticed recently in my recordings that my voice chat both over teamspeak and direct chat is a high pitched, garbled mess.  Is there a way to fix this or is there a free alternative to shadowplay that I can get into using.  Would prefer something easy and user-friendly.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Had exactly the same problems as you, switched to plays.tv 3 or so days ago as per a friends recommendation and never going to look back. Honestly, shadowplay is terrible feature and bugwise compared to this beauty.
