Hunting Rules

I believe this is the best time for the hunting rules to be clearly outlined. In the past there have always been some sort of 'unspoken' rules that are a real thing but not posted anywhere for people to revise/read. I believe this to make more sense now as the new opportunity to be an illegal hunter arises and people will not be clear on the rules surrounding it. This in reality helps the staff team out as they don't have to take time out their days to go around and tell people about this.

Yes. I know it's not allowed to, when I shoot a deer with a pistol (illegal) and it gets back up, shoot it again. What I don't know if it's as simple as a rangers rule, or an exploiting ban. Quite a difference between the 2. I know previously there have been many instances of people genuinely not knowing that running animals over or collat-shooting them is a bannable offense. Why not make it easier for everyone and clarify it in the rules.

It is clearly stated in the Ranger TOS whats a banable offence.

Its,
- Collaterals,
- AVDM - Running them over then skinning them etc
- Spawn farming. Running back and fourth in a small spot to force them to respawn.


Everything else is a ic issue as far as im aware.

The part where if you shoot the thing and it gets back up, just shoot it again. Ive done this 100 times atleast and its not a banable offence.
Worst case its a character issue cause you are injuring the animal etc and if rangers sees it they can make a RP situation of it i guess but yeah..

Realisticly speaking you can go hunting without a license if you get a rifle from bins. Those last for weeks and doesnt have a tag for who owns it etc etc..
