Make a new kit to repair the ignition key of the vehicles.

Detailed Suggestion:
Right now, the only way to reset a vehicle's hotwire status is to put it in a garage and take it back out. I believe that a new repair kit should be used to reset its status.

I'd say there's no need for the local cars to have that feature, only player or faction owned vehicles.

This is a much better idea tbh.

I'd personally make it like a wiping cloth, as in, no skill check but it runs out. Maybe 1/2 uses?

I'd say it should be its own item. Would be cool if putting it in the garage didn't fix the ignition and this item would be required to fix the issue, even across restarts. Makes sense really

so my current idea based of the consensus is


A new Tool / Repair kit thats supplied to the repair shops either for them to do the repair or supply the tool like body kits

A) Would we be able to get a clear indication if it has or hasn’t been hotwired.
B) Would parking the vehicle still fix the Hotwire state?

My only concern is it make it’s far more tedious to get you car fixed when it takes 5 seconds to do it again
