SLOTS
Since blackjack has been added to the casino and the slots have had changed odds, whenever I'm around, I never see anybody play them anymore. Everybody just seems to play blackjack and the other side of the casino feels empty. To explain why I think nobody plays slots:
- They take too long to spin and pressing TAB and ENTER gets tedious and boring.
- Bet sizes are too small (500 max bet).
- Winning odds seem weird to me (explained below).
I've been doing slots for the last 9 months I've been around and I'd say I've wasted quiet a good few million playing. When it comes to winning, the luckiest you can hit is 3 bells rewarding 50k and this is the only way you can expect to win some of your money back. When it comes to the 250k / 500k prizes, they almost seem non-existent. I've never received a single tease for the last prize giving me 2/3 symbols. Same said for the 250k, I've received only a handful over the 9 months giving the 2/3 symbols however them being in slot 2 and 3 only.
It feels very unexciting going into the casino playing slots. My mentality when going into the casino should be sitting down to have fun and hope to get the max prize, but as of now it feels like I'm only going there to only expect and win 125k max, which is far from it. Maybe there are people out there that have won the max prize, however if it's not announced anywhere and nobody knows that the casino is paying that money on slots, what's the point? (just my opinion)
Few of my ideas how to make the slots better and more exciting to play:
- Option to enable auto-spin & quick spin on the slots.
- Increase single bet size.
- Announce winning of max prize (anonymous) that somebody won max prize from slots (similar to what people see from the wheel). The message in the OOC chat show that but maybe we could have a section on Tweedle that keeps track of max wins and dates?
- Introduce a slot that is 3x5 or 5x5. I have found this one here that looks pretty sick giving people more variety to choose from:

Only way to spin the wheel is to collect tokens from blackjack and do it that way. Playing slots doesn't grant you any and maybe that's also one of the reasons why people don't want to play them. The car behind that wheel hasn't changed in a long time. With so many new imports now in, maybe it's time to give people a chance to win a car that's rare and no dealerships sell?
Clothing tokens still have no use from the wheel, with the new clothing update everybody expected the ability to exchange them for some rare clothing. Getting one is like a slap in the face saying, "you've won a clothing token but you can't actually use them so in fact, you've won nothing at all".
The wheel could do with an update also allowing people to use the tokens they gather (like it was) and pay money to buy spins, something like:
5 Spins: 15k
10 Spins: 30k
Change the winnings on the wheel to justify the spin price.
SUM IT UP
The Casino makes a lot of money, and that's where a lot of peoples money go nowadays. Casino could organized events for people to participate and give back some of its winnings to the customers. This could include car giveaways for regular members, free chips to gamble with, free spins on slot machines etc.
I feel enhancing the casino further could allow for yet another bigger money sink than what it already is.
