I can just imagine the chaos during a police chase haha but it does seem a nice idea, I diden't read the whole thing but is there a way to also have auto cars if you want like upgrade to a auto transmission?

 
at least half the community does not even have a driver's license, never mind know how to drive a manual transmission.
This would be to OP for the ones that do... +1

 
To be honest, I think this could be a great addition for street races and even police pursuits. 

If it does make it into the game manual transmission should have a slight edge over automatic.

Where possible to make it realistic it would be best to have the setting carbound not settingsbound.

It wouldnt make sense to switch inbetween auto and manual on the same car unless you have flippers.

In the same way you would get automatics and manual shifting cars on the market.
