Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 
What a year 2025 has been! We're so glad that you could be here to experience it with us. We've got a whole lot in store for 2026 and we look forward to sharing it with you! As is tradition, we've asked the staff and development teams to provide a brief message to pass on to you all.
As most will know, none of our community team (Dev & Staff) are paid for any of their contributions to the community, it's an entirely voluntary position and as leads we are constantly pushing for the best of the best out of them. Each and every one contributes to keeping the community running each and every day, and I am thankful to them all for all that they provide. We are incredibly lucky to have such an amazing team powering the community and I hope you'll share your gratitude in the replies below.

Another year passed, another year within this community.
I’ve dealt with both sides of the coin here. Seen folks grow and be awarded, also had to cull the herd.
But having seen it from the position I hold, I stand firm on the fact that this community is driven by good folks. Yes there may be the odd moment of assholery, but as a whole, the player base are constructive and helpful.
There’s a part of me that realises, this could be our last Christmas and new years together as a GTAV fivem community, With GTA6 looming over us like a storm cloud ready to upset the balance. And I can’t begin to express how much that fucking saddens me. The people here, really are amazing folk. Keep up your high standards going into next year guys. And if it so happens that the next chapter begins, know that you guys, your stories, your characters and yourselves, have made working the thousands of hours in this role genuinely worth it.

Another great year of RP and whilst it's had hiccups, the server's RP quality has properly jumped up recently.
From cops trying to "chase the W" less to crims not just blamming the first probie to pull them over, your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Our legal system as always relies on dedicated individuals performing those roles and we are thankful for what you do.
Last but not least shout out to the NHS/Fire without whom we'd all be bleeding out after trying to take a turn too optimistically or a local deciding to kamikaze us.
Keep it up and importantly have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Another year passes by and here we are, still looking after this community and the people in it!
Whilst a stressful year for me personally, it has been greatly helped by the people I interact with here on a daily basis, and has carried me through some difficult moments to say the least, so for that, I am ever so grateful
To my fellow Staff Team:
Thank you for the opportunity to continue doing what I do here (whilst I'm still convinced I don't really do much!) and believing in me enough to let me get more and more stuck in to helping out with all the stuff we do on a daily basis! This has been my first full year on the staff team and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment, it's nice to give back to a community that has given me so much more social time for the past 2 years (I am getting old and pubs aren't really my thing anymore!) and has provided me with more friendships than I think I have ever had in my lifetime! You've all been supportive and kind during my several wobbles through the year, checking in on me, making sure I'm keeping my head above water! So lets make this new year another good one and keep the digital escape running smoothly
To the Devs:
Thank you for continuing to strive for every possible improvement, no matter how big or small, every changelog, every tweak, makes all the difference one way or another. Dedicating your spare time to create new things for the server and bringing exciting new things in takes a lot of effort and I'm sure lots of trial and error, so a big well done and keep the good work, I cannot wait to see what you guys bring in the new year, I'm sure you have a whole big list of things!
To the rest of the RPUK community:
Its fascinating to see all the stories and individual "lives" so to speak that exist on this server, seeing you all experiencing your own slices of the fantasy brings me great joy and pride for such a creative collective of people! There's been some good, some bad, some ugly, but through it all, we're all still here, whether that is grinding materials, doing long stints of bin/taxi/food delivery/mechanic runs that definitely wouldn't be legal in the real world (rest is important!), Police/NHS/G6 doing their bit for the people of Los Santos, or gangs clashing heads with one another! Keep going with your stories, make them as big or as small as you like, and make good choices as you do!
So with all that yapping out the way (I love a good paragraph, nothing changes), I guess all that is left for me to say is:
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! Maybe this year the police will finally catch those swans....

Blimmin' ell, blinked once and a whole year's gone by.
2025 has been a very strange, but rewarding year. A bit messy at times, but filled with progress that's quite easy to miss.
And even despite these rough patches, one thing has stayed very clear; this community continues to evolve, and there's still so much potential left in it.
Behind the scenes, there’s been no shortage of discussion, planning, and quiet progressing. All of it aimed at pushing things forward.
We can't always show what's moving behind the scenes, but I'd like to think the team's work is shining through.
On a personal note, this year’s been a reset in the best way. It's given me a lot of time to reflect and come back with a clearer sense of direction and renewed confidence.
To everyone who's stuck around, contributed in any possible sort of ways, and even kept us on our toes- thank you. This place only works because people care enough to build, challenge and improve it.
Wishing you all a very lovely Christmas, whether it's with family, friends, or just some quiet time to yourself- and a new year that brings better things your way, both in and out of RP.

Although I´ve not been around much the last few months, I´m still here and am wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a wonderful 2026!

What a year it has been... It's truly been a rollercoaster!
I say it every year; but we truly are privileged to exist as a community in the way that we do. I know of no other communities of this scale with such talented volunteer run development teams and community teams. I am proud of where we are now. We are not without fault, but we continue to try our hardest to deliver an outstanding experience. There's much that I want to continue to improve within the staff team that I am privileged to lead alongside some other equally incredible people. Unfortunately for me, it's been a year that has demanded a LOT of my time, focus and energy away from RPUK, but I'm hopeful that 2026 will allow me more time to contribute here!
I wish you all a happy and safe Christmas and New Year.

First of all, I want to thank you guys, for your passion, your feedback, and the drive to make the community/server even better - at least those who can do so constructively - genuinely thank you!
We hear the concerns raised by the community, and we are listening. Although we'd love to, we cannot realistically implement all of your suggestions/ideas, and I hope that goes unsaid. We have begun changing the process in which we deal with suggestions to show that we are processing them. But all your feedback is read and discussed - although not always implemented, it certainly sparks ideas in the creative process, which leads to other things, so thanks for that also.
I’m hopeful the coming weeks and the new year will show you that we’re genuinely listening. We've got some exciting things in the works for the new year, and I'm looking forward to rolling them out.

Crazy to think another year has gone by.
I've not been able to take as much of an active role as I would have liked, but a massive shout out to @Duke of Sussex and the rest of the development team for keeping everything running so smoothly.
