''Minigame'' mechanic Suggestions/feedback

Im making this post in regards to the new minigame we now have to do when crafting/reparing etc so that people can share what their views and experiences are.

Personally from a mechanic standpoint doing repairs, allthough i understand there is a learning curve for this i feel that the game should be made easier for level 4 mechanics or not be required when in a repair shop. Before we could get a couple repairs out of a single repair kit but now its likley we'll use multiple on a single repair wich in the long run will force the mechanic shops to raise the prices above what the cost is in Ls Customs.
Its currently also not possible to carry a conversation whilst doing the minigame.

Suggestion on how they could be made easier:
- Slow down the pace.
- Make the hit box bigger.
- Allow mechanics to keep the kit even if the minigame fails.

Additionally, In my opinion the minigame is abit uncessisary for some task like using wash cloths.

I think it would be good if it worked along side the mechanical options. In the sense that if you are in a shop it cant fail, so you dont have the issue of it breaking kits and then costing the employees money. Because we can not charge for failed repairs.

Also i think for some people that are a bit more challenged it also makes it impossible for them to do half of the things the city has to offer. As they do not have the same reaction times as the rest of us.

I think with this as well a idea maybe to instead of using the numbers, just use the spacebar and slow it down then it makes it abit more simple yet still has the aspect of using the timing. But i do agree on these!

Don't even mind the minigame but don't think you should lose the kit if you fail, you get punished enough for the delay in the repair nevermind loosing the kits

I agree with all these points. +1

I do also think it gets in the way of rp if you basically have to stop a conversation to complete the mini game.

+1  Such a pain in the ass, this thing.  Will echo what Jeep has already said. Before I read the change log,  I did say joking around if I have to do this with a wash cloth, I'm going to resign from Auto Exotic.  Then it popped up.     I like the idea in general, but  I hate this idea.

One more thing i wanted to mention is that the reason i believe this was implemented was to stop people AFK farming and to add more RP/interaction. The issue there is i cant actually talk to anyone while playing the mini game as it makes me fail the game. So i have to cut a conversation short and the next thing they hear is me yelling "FUCK!!" when i fail the repair and realise that ive just lost another £850.

Id like the mini games to be split in half. The mechanic currently is 2 games in one. One to recognise the right number and press it at the right time and the other is to hit the dot into the circle. I would like to see the game be one OR the other.

For example - Fishing - at present you press 6, 7, 8 or 9 when the fish bites. You catch a bunch of fish. This is fucking boring but it works. It can work for hours on end, the reason people dont fish much is because taxiing pays better, not a problem of the mechanic itself but the reward. The other minigames should be similar.

ALTERNATIVELY

keep the mini game as it is but substitute the number press for a specific button press which NEVER CHANGES - such as  the "E" button. So you see the dot circle and you press E when its in the right part of the circle. This is 100x more intuitive to new people and helps everyone to carry out a simple task much easier, whilst at the same time achieving the "assumed" original objective of keeping the macroers from macroing tonnes of steel.

Just running into loads of problems with this mini-game, buggy and laggy, losing kits even with the FiveM setting fix.  Instead of the whole mini-game thing, can we not just have regular key prompts to make sure anyone isn't AFK during an activity?

If anyone has ever played Tower Unite, they use this system on slot machines in the casino section, just to make sure you cannot auto click/spin while AFK.  If you do not press the key asked for within 10 seconds, you get kicked out of the activity.

This is killing my role play with customers atm, as Jeep say's "you can not talk with the customer while in the mini game" I also can not do or change emotes as I usually do and can not use my sound board to inprove my role play in the work shop. May I add I run a mining and smelting company and it is killing it.
