Movie Maker replacement.

I have all the time used Windows Movie Maker to cut evidence etc for comp request and to solve situations. January 17th Windows stopped the support for Essentials 2012 including movie maker. Anyone have any recommendation to software replacing this.

Thanks to Bo and Smith, I used Davinci Resolve. The free software is good enough for video editing once you learn it.

Sony Vegas easy to use for all types of projects and doesn't really matter whether you are an amatuer or professional. Obviously expensive unless you have a black hat!

Being totally honest if you are only cutting the videos Bandicut is very useful as it does not need to re encode the videos that is cuts, meaning process is more or less instant.
