No global ?

Hi guys

why doesn't this server have Global Chat ?

Global chat has been replaced with the dispatch texting system. It's not too realistic or non-meta to allow people to use one channel to send comms to everyone on the server. Plus with a server as big as ours we will be constantly mic-spammed by all the comms so no others can get through.

petrovic that's why I was asking because as you know a lot of times civs can be real retards, but how do I do that " dispatch texting system " ?.

Imo they should prohibit voice chat on global and just keep the text chat enabled.

Gaher in the Y menu click the cell phone option and you will see three options text message(with a drop bar to pick a recipient),then there is text police and text admin. 

Side channel(it's cyan blue) is the closest thing to global for civilians(Cops can't see it) and voice chat is prohibited in it.

In the long run global chat will be turned off, this is to stop the voice spammers etc
