Panning Loot Table

I used to be a pan enjoyer, the pay was decent and the stuff you got in the quantities you got it was useful. recently the loot you get from panning is has been underwhelming, for example 37 copper ore in an hour is not great. it would be nice to have a skill to increase loot gained from panning, or improve panning in general.

Maybe have some panning-exclusive rewards, and have higher tier loot the better your panning skill is.

Panning could easily be super broken tho.

If you get a skill for it and that gives you more all over, you then generate more plastic sheets, aspirin and wads of cash than any other activities.

Keep it as it is and just add more items to it I guess. Like with bins. Now its limited to a few items as far as im aware.

Add more shit to the pool(literally), then keep it as is. If it gets buffed, we will see gangs panning instead of selling at hotspots lol.

It would never be that OP earning cash wise, there's plenty more to find other than what would benefit a gang (aspirin and money) I was referring to other stuff like zip ties n other stuff you wouldn't normally find

Hmmm idk. Feel like more skill trees would be encouraging more people to grind and not rp imo.

I would focus more on what you get from panning in different areas, like fishing, so if you go to certain places you'll be more likely to find one item over another

Like this beach is good for clams
And this river is good for ores
And this pond is good for xyz and so on

Not a bad idea IMO,
I think the biggest issue is that we don't know what you are looking to get out of panning so therefore the loot table has gotten to vast

Anyone else got specific changes they would like to suggest?

True tho I would I guess make it fit the area In somewhat

Like the pool behind the casino you could find tokens

Maybe panning near zancudo could find gun parts or ammo something like that

Down near humane could find chemicals

just examples from me:

panning along the sea:
-Find bottles
-Find plastic more
-Find clams more
-Maybe even crabs?
-differnt kind of drugs (maybe make them wet drugs that different gangs can restore?)
-fishing rods
-body parts

Panning in rivers:
-different ores
-Maybe diffferent kind of clam? you got fresh water clams in rivers
-Maybe broken guns/hunting gear in the rivers by the zancudo and the trails where people hunt
-less chance of plastic
-less chance of bottles
-rocks
-cley
-bodyparts
-Fishing rods

lakes:
-just in general not best place to pan maybe?
-Maybe less chance of plastic, materials and bodyparts?
-Less chance of fishing rods?

I am just thinking like, if do get the "IQ" brought in for panning too, you could get chance of finding better things.
But also its all on where you pan and stuff too.

If you think about real life and stuff then finding bottles and plastic is a normal thing, while in rivers you can find more material things. And bodyparts, since we like dumping bodies in the rivers, lake and sea haha

I know a l,ot of people miss finding phones and lockpics for their shop to sell. But in reality finding a wet phone in the water, the phone would basicly be broken. But the lockpics yes, they could still work.

I know i miss finding better loot when i used to pan before. But also, its not supposed to be overpowered in the city.

OR maybe if able to be able to find car parts that you can break down in to different materials, since people dump cars in rivers and sea. But thats probably a little DEV work to do haha

interesting..... im starting to question those wieners you sell.......
Belive it or not, its from meat i get during my hunting trips xD

I was just thinking it would be a fun thing to add in since so many dump people in water after killing them etc

This could also work well combining it with other scripts eg metal detecting.

I have used a metal detecting script before and it works very similar to panning, mainly along the beaches it is possible to go through the sand and find items. This could help better define where different items will be located.
