In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for 1.6 'The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues. '
The 1.6 rule has been a rule that was put in place so that the staff are able to protect the server from people, like myself, that have coursed the server a problem or to negatively affect the other players experiences.
The way in which I broke this rule was by killing three members of the community, that were playing by the rules set by the server, without an initiation. The reason why I was banned for 1.6 and not 2.2 (RDM) was due to the fact I deliberately broke this rule, and coursed the server a problem that i regret completely to this day.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Over the last 9 months from being absent from the community I've had some serious life changes. I've gone from being the 17 year old boy, that ran around like a sheep, trying to prove himself as a 'one of the best' Arma 3 players, to a mature 18 year old, self - employed, and ready to come back. So much has happened, but the main thing is that I've done a lot of growing up. Having my own flat is a massive part of this, as well has having my own business, Its made me more aware, and so much more sympathetic for my actions that affected yours. My actions where the act of a child, and I hope you can accept the adult that is requesting another chance.
Why do you want to return ?
Roleplay.co.uk used to be a huge part of my life, its a community that you not only play a game on but create friendships. That is the part of this community I miss the most, its not the game itselfs, but the community off people. I realised that the reason for me wanting to get unbanned is due to the fact I want to be apart of that community again. I used to be a huge gamer, since being banned from RPUK I have lost that, and am hoping that if I regain the community that I will have that again. So the main reason I want to come back is to come back to the friends that I lost, and to be a positive member of the community, that I once was, again.
I always find myself being drawn back to the community, and the main reason I have left requested and un-ban is due to the fact I wanted more time to go, hoping that time can heal things...
Why should we unban you ?
In all honesty, being a business owner myself, I don't think you should, it would be to big a risk, and the impact it could potential have far out ways the positives that you could resive if i returned. However, If i was to return I would bring back the positive member of the community, the member that had so many positive roleplay experiences, the only member of the gang that requested to roleplay, and the member that DID despite what you might think, enjoyed to roleplay.
I would like to address @Wilco directly, as I understand you will most likely deal with this request. Im going to quote from my previous perment unban appeal, again witch you dealt with.
‘ Just by a quick google search of your steam ID I can see in the months you have been gone you have been hanging around with 1.6 members and not only that you have been banned elsewhere so cut the "i have reformed" bollocks with us. ‘
If you take another look, you will see that Im barley on steam, I don’t play games, the only 1.6 member I belive I have played with since is @Dom, and that is just due to the fact he is a School friend, but to my knowledge I havnt played with anyone else for a long time, hopefuly showing to you that this unban is serious, and Im here to be apart of the community again in a positive manner, and not a negative one.
‘You was never a positive member of this community’
This statement is 100% not true, I can tell you that before I was a member of Ascension, I had no idea about ‘combat’ in Arma. I was a rolepalyer through and through, I loved it and still do. I at this point didn’t even know the combat controls, I remember on my first PCSO patrol they had to teach me how to put a suppresser on my gun… My point being I have been a positive memebver of the community before, and would love ot show this side of me again.
‘you little stunt was only remembered by you, and as you discovered these little attacks effect a couple of members for a few minutes until your banned and there compensated.’
This statement however is 100% true, this is barly remembered, it was immature and pathetic actions from a little boy, and I have matured, and hope you can see this.
I love everything about this server, the roleplay quality is the best out of any server i have ever played in my 2 - 3 years on this game, i have never found one that is even at the same level.
I also want to apologise to you for attacking the community that you built, the members of the community i affected with my 'stunt' that ended up in my banning, and i would like to ask you to forgive me for what i did, and i know this is a huge thing to try to do, but after all, people being banned is because you believe them to be a threat to the community, i am no longer a threat, i will be a positive member of this community if given the chance, however i also understand that being banned is a punishment, and if you believe i have not had a punishment worth the crime i will accept that.
Thank you to everyone that makes this community a enjoyable experience i truly hope i will be given the chance to do the same.
