In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.

I believe I was initially banned for failing to comply, or help staff deal with trolling, which was extremely irresponsible of me at the time, but then after my ban i over reacted by further implicating my self in toxic behaviour against management, whom I was previously on good terms with. I used racist slurs, and was aggressive to management at the time (which went on for weeks). Though some of the insults went and back forth, it was still irresponsible and uncalled for and i am very sorry about it.
 

What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?

The first months following my initial ban I continued playing on other communities, but then the remaining 5 or more months I completely quit gaming and gave away my keyboard and mouse to friends therefore I haven't been gaming for the past 5 months except for casual xbox gaming. I have been focused on Uni and my internship much more than before. Ive also started biking everywhere because my drivers license was taken away for a 6 month period. Aside from spending most of my time biking and focusing on University and my internship i havent been doing much also done a bit of travelling the past 6 months to a few places.

Why do you want to return ?

I would like to return to prove I am not the kind of person I acted as after my ban, but also to come back and play with old friends whom i havent spoken with in a long time. I'm not in the business of holding grudges, or being disrespectful therefore I would also like the chance to apologize to everyone I have insulted, management in particular, I am sorry. I also don't want to see my investment go to waste over my mistakes therefore I would appreciate a second chance please, thank you.

Why should we unban you ?

Since the time I was banned, I have changed and matured as a person, at first I had continued gaming in another community, but a month or two in, I completely quit gaming since November, because I needed to focus on Uni and my job internship. Many things have changed for the best in my life, and i have been rehabilitated. 3 weeks into the new year i decided i might start casually gaming again, i would like to get back to playing here, where it all started.Testiment for my passion to this community is the money I’ve invested in it, which i do not regret. I would like to be able to get back to playing with many friends I’ve made on here every now and then. I’ve taken the time to reconsider my attitude and approach to people, and as cringe as this sounds, the whole new year thing really got to me this year. It hasn’t been long since I was on managements stream bashing people, but i honestly regret that, and would like the opportunity to prove I am better than that. My initial ban in itself was not particularly bad or toxic, but my actions after that were horrible, I portrayed myself a racist- something i am not, i even went to a private international secondary school, and my best friend is of african descent, which means nothing to you , but i hope would prove my case of me not being a racist, but regardless all i can do at this point is give my sincerest apologies. Though some might argue my initial ban shouldn’t have happened in the first place, i accept that it did; regardless of my past commitment to this community, but i accept that it has and that my actions after the ban were not correct. I hope you can reconsider accepting me into RPUK. I am sorry to everyone.

I did acknowledge the use of racial slurs against members of the community and management, I am not trying to hide anything, I am sorry for such comments I made in moments of rage. At the time I was pissed for a while because I did not understand my initial ban, though I do know, but as you can imagine many people might also be pissed when getting banned for refusing to snitch- which I know understand. I was pissed I didn't agree with my initial ban at the time, I previously thought it was unfair for me to lose 300 euros invested, but after thinking about it for sometime I have come to understand why I was banned initially and why it was justified, also that donations are not taken into account when banning, etc...

Firstly, I think we can all agree on something here, You are not the type of player we want here. Reacting the way you did just shown us the type of person that you could become, you can't come here claiming you have "changed and matured as a person" We hear this on the daily, it's just another detail to add into your appeal, if you was mature in the first place you wouldn't be in the position you are in today. You may believe you portrayed someone that isn't usual like yourself but in all truth you shown true colours.

You are perfectly within your right to disagree with your initial ban, as that is your opinion on the situation, it's the way you respond to it is the difference between coming back and integrating with the community after tarnishing your reputation.
