In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for extremely poor roleplay, and was therefore subject to the blanket ban of Invictia/Pavillion.
What have you been upto in the last 6 months+ ?
Studying hard for my upcoming A-Levels, Playing and watching football, and relaxing in general.
Why do you want to return ?
I feel that at the time of my ban I was immature and surrounded by not great influences. Since then, I have matured and took a huge break from Arma to focus on my studies. I have not played Arma since April 2017 - as I felt it was not right and with my exams fast approaching I had other serious focuses. Back then when I was playing RPUK I was young and naive and looking for thrill. A lot of people targeted as a figurehead of poor roleplay within the gang, and I regret having been like that. It was stupid behaviour of me, and I can assure you I have since matured. I do miss RPUK and speak to Ciaran a lot about how the server has developed as I haven't played Arma in such a long time.
I have taken an extended break from pc gaming, as I felt that it was necessary to prioritise my work and examinations, and I would love that chance to return and show what I really can do in terms of roleplay rather than what I done previously.
Why should we unban you ?
Firstly I would like to take the opportunity to apologise to Wilco, for letting him down, Vladic Ka for any problems I caused him - the entire staff team past and present, Ciaran, and also the community. Although I did not commit any toxic actions or behaviour, I feel that the way in which I behaved betrayed the trust of people who put faith in me and my positions. The way in which I behaved was wrong, and I would like to ask if possible for a chance of forgiveness...
Whilst on the community, I was in line with the rules on a personal basis, that being said the roleplay that the gang showed was truly unacceptable and I fully understand that I was banned in order to uphold the high quality roleplay the server was known for. There was a time where I showed my roleplay whilst in the police, often manning borders and checkpoints in order to show my roleplay talents - which do exist. I enjoy the concept of roleplay on Arma, and feel that on RPUK I was most comfortable, as the community cared for me through nearly 3 years of my life whilst I experimented with PC gaming. There was always someone to turn to on RPUK, whether it was having a chat with new people or helping those in need. It could be said that I just got caught up with the wrong 'crowd'.
If I was to be unbanned, I would strive to create more high quality roleplay - especially with @Farmer Giles, and try to make people laugh and enjoy there time on the server, as people once done for me. The time of huge gunfights and shootouts is over for me, it is different when you are younger and chasing the adrenaline whereas now I simply wish to have fun and make people have a good time, thats what games are all about at the end of the day. I ran my course and served punishment due to my actions, which over the 2 year period of not playing Arma I have reflected on. I would hope that I can change the connotations associated through/with my name to become that of high quality roleplay.
I would also like to add that I am not a toxic person at all, and can %100 swear that I was not involved in any of the sick comments made by other members of the gang about people. I detest toxic people, and that is prominently why I never make toxic remarks or 'jokes'. Some of the comments passed were truly horrible, and things I would never say to someone - there is a line and several people who I had previously played with (and no longer do) crossed it.
Looking back, I had surrounded myself with bad influences and cared only for the thrill and not the experience. Now I hope that I can return and show off my real ability and roleplay talents. My year + in the police was brilliant and granted me so many opportunities for roleplay, however when I was demoted and kicked for a stupid action that shouldn't have happened it definitely sent me down the wrong path. The police were brilliant (besides capping me at DSGT) but I can only thank the senior leadership past and present who looked after me when I first joined in 2014.
I would really like to have the ability to see how the server has progressed, and how Arma as a game has developed with thousands of possible Roleplay routes to follow. I am sorry for my actions, and wish only for a second chance to play in the community I once called home. I would like to assure you that I will not surround myself with bad influence and will not be a bad influence myself in future, and I am honest when I say this. Thank you.
