The issue im having during storms I cant hear anyone speaking so it gives me no choice but to F8 Quit during storms. im not sure if this suggestion will go through having other people say to me its too loud to so im not the only person who thinks the volume of it is defining because lets be honest its way to loud for a actual storm. I have tried to turn it down with SFX settings but for some reason it turns all GTA audio off.

+1

Please lord, I'm okay with the rain it is British roleplay but good greif does it feel louder then actual thunder.

I've had situations both with my police and civilian characters where the sheer volume of the thunder even with "SFX when speaking" enabled and turned down has seriously hindered the ability to conversate and roleplay easily.

One mose notable is when I can't hear the passenger in my vehicle in first person over said rain.

I don't see why we couldn't drop the volume of it and add some QOL to it.

This suggestion gets put up ever few weeks, You can not "turn down the volume of storms" so this will just get rejected.

That being said most people at somepoint have given up on roleplay because they cannot hear people and arent prepared to start shouting at 3am just to be heard.

Due to this either removing storms, limiting them to max 5 mins ect or seriously reducing the fequencey of them would help a lot.

Even businesses made for RP like Auto Exotic become unbarable as the storms are still just as loud inside the same as houses. If nothing else more sound exclusion zones inside high population areas would help.

As @Maverick Delta said, this has been suggested before, and unfortunately, we do not have control over the volume. The weather is native to GTA V, which only exposes the weather types to choose from, but does not expose any option to get/change the volume.

However, I will see to lowering the chance of "Thunder" being cycled.
