Potatoes growing for hours glitch

Is there any way to fix the glitch where it says for example potatoes growing for 45 mins? This happens if you log while growing potatoes and the  growing timer just increases till restart.

For example if I am growing my potatoes and lose connection the potatoes will not grow but the timer will increase
