As a vehement pacifist I wish Remembrance Sunday came more than once a year. It is important to realise how many have been/are being affected by war.
Today I urge you to think not only of our troops who have fallen, but all men and women, under all flags who have lost their lives to war. Ally or enemy, fallen or serving. Conflict is a bitter situation that I wish we could live without.
So today I will take a moment from my idle life, to pay my private respects to those who have suffered. May they rest in peace.
