Please (in detail) describe the incident: I respond to a message on Tweedle which asked if someone would like to purchase a vehicle. I message the person, the accused, and we meet up. I take the vehicle on a test drive and cruise about the streets having a good time. We then go to City Hall and then faff around, he gets the car reg. We discuss the means of sale of the car, and he agrees on a means. He then scams me which is not the issue. The issue is that almost immediately after giving him the money he logs out of the game, completely ending the RP, ruining any chance for any RP to follow from that, thus ruining the point of a roleplay server.

I have looked through the logs and can see the player disconnected. (C2.3) Combat logging - Logging out at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a permanent ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).

The first part of this rule is the important part here 'Logging out at any point during RP'

It is clear from the video that the RP situation was not over as you were awaiting the transfer of the vehicle at the front desk.

By the player logging off it has voided any RP interaction that could have happened. The player could have played it a multitude of different ways like perhaps running off? But has chosen to log out instead.

Therefore he will be receiving a ban.
