What best describes this incident: G2.12
Please (in detail) describe the incident: I have sat and had a think about this and have decided to report this player for poor RP, I woke up to find there had been a shoot out with police and mara. Once I got to turf I was driving around to see if there was any of our members the police may have missed, there was not. So we were thinking of ways to try to get them back, we headed to MRPD to be told they were at lower Pillbox. So we went there, one of our member pick locked the side door where i and 2 others went in. I took a position behind a police officer and pull out my gun and pointed it at his head, telling other police not to try anything, or he would be shot. But a lot of them seem distracted with another one of our members, that left 2 officers in my POV who I was trying to start negotiations with, but I was not getting anywhere. I when told the officer to move to his right as I wanted to get in the corner, so police would have had a harder time shooting me, but as I gave this command I was bean bagged with 0 interaction from police. I was extremely disappointed as this could have been a fun RP interaction that was cut very short.

This is a shame I have to put this report up to be honest. But with the low quality RP I received just doesn't sit right with me, loosing what I did. If it was fun and a good RP situation and lead to me loosing stuff, I wouldn't care at all. But this wasn't the case, I did have a chat with this player. Which he admitted his mistake and took full responsibility even though he told me he was told on radio to take the shot, so I feel it just isn't him who is responsible for this. As some people will listen to command given.

Good evening mate,

As we spoke about in QE, I don’t feel there’s much more to add here. I was part of an ongoing hostile RP with Mara. We arrived at their turf, which led to a shootout, and we had the guy on the ground as shown in your clip. After that, we noticed Mara members lurking around outside, clearly trying to get their guy back up.

When we saw you enter the garage, we were immediately alarmed by the sight of a gun being held to an officer’s head. Your mate with the wrench hit an officer over the head and was subsequently bean-bagged and arrested, while you still had the gun aimed at the officer. That’s when I shifted my attention to you. I moved toward the vehicles on the side, got a clear shot, and—as shown in the clip—radioed in to say I had eyes on the suspect. I was told to "Take it", so I followed through and stunned you.

I’ve already acknowledged that, from your perspective, it might’ve felt like poor RP. You mentioned flying into an active gunfight and then getting involved in an ongoing RP with your gang, which caused some confusion on my end. At that point, the RP was already established, and the threat to life was high.

I hope this makes sense and helps explain where I’m coming from. All I can do is apologise again for the situation you found yourself in by pushing the hospital.

When I woke up, I heard no shooting and heard police are picking up our members on the radio, but at this point still didn't know what was going on till about a minute later. Once I drove up, police were leaving, so tbh am unsure when the shooting stopped; I wasn't involved in that shootout.

This report has sat here long enough, and it's clear no more responses are being added. Thank you both for explaining your sides of the story.

After reviewing the footage, I have to say I find the overall situation to be quite poor from both parties involved.

Roman's initial idea, attempting a hostage situation, had the right intention. However, it's clear from the footage that there was no solid plan in place before entering Pillbox.
Given the number of officers already on scene, and the high-risk nature of the location, a more coordinated and thoughtful approach would've been necessary.

Had you guys stuck together, worked as a team, and properly covered each other, this situation may have unfolded very differently. Instead, each of you went in and acted independently, with the others seen swinging melee weapons and creating a distraction while you, Roman, are trying to take control of the scene.

As for Roman specifically, while I do understand your frustration, you had a gun pointed at an officer but failed to stay aware of your surroundings. The officer who flanked you had a clear opportunity to intervene, and from a realistic standpoint, it makes sense that someone would act quickly to stop a direct threat to their colleague's life. Had you turned around or checked your surroundings, this might have played out differently again, but you didn't, and that played a significant role in how quickly this situation was cut short.

On the police side, I understand the urgency of the moment, one of your officers has a firearm to their head, and quick action was needed. Jimmy had a clean opening, the call was communicated over radio, and he took the shot after being told to proceed.
In the context of a high-threat situation, this was a reasonable course of action.

That said, this also highlights a larger point that's worth reflecting on:
Just because you can shut something down immediately, doesn't always mean you should. In this case, a sudden hostage situation had the potential to evolve into an interesting roleplay scenario, one that was cut short almost instantly.
It's worth remembering that we're here to create engaging and enjoyable stories for everyone, and in some cases, a moment of self-restraint can go a long way in supporting that.

Report denied, but I do hope all parties can take something away from this.
