Please (in detail) describe the incident: Arrested a Barry Clevedon from a situation in El Burro Heights. Following this he was taken to custody. [NOT SHOWN IN VIDEO AS I HADN'T STARTED RECORDING AT THIS POINT] I initially freed him from his handcuffs to allow him to freely move within his cell. He took this opportunity to start punching me. From there I think I managed to smack him once with the baton before he was placed in cuffs.
[VIDEO BEGINS] After he heard his sentence term. He stated he needed food. He ate food and when I tried to restrain him again he started punching me. He was hit 3x with the baton before being incapacitated. Once he went down, 13 seconds later he did a /me of "bleeds heavily from being beaten" shortly followed by "unconscious due to severe beating and trauma to head". I think this is indicative of the result of the situation where he ended up respawning. It seems to me that he took an easy way of avoiding punishment. He went effectively silent when he was arrested and informed us he needed to log off OOC. There didn't seem a willingness to roleplay so I didn't reciprocate in custody. His injuries don't seem to have any correlation to dying as it was solely three baton strikes, no guns, no bullets etc.

Hello Connor,

I’m ashamed that you feel this way because in no way did I ‘Powergame’ my way out of a sentence. When you decided to hit me multiple times with a baton I was simply role playing my injuries. There was more than just you in the cells as you had called for backup and realistically a taser could have been used. Now since my character ‘Barry’ got hit excessively by a baton, he fell to the floor and had hit his head - cutting his head and breaking the characters nose. I gave you the /me’s for this to further the roleplay so you were able to give the correct medical.

Originally I did not have any intentions of bleeding out, I simply wanted a bit of medical roleplay. However you turned to giving CPR and simply ignored my /me’s of my ribs weakening due to excessive force during this CPR and eventually causing my ribs to snap, affecting my characters breathing. I personally do not see the problem here. I hope you know that just because you didn’t shoot me, that people very much die from batons, especially when hitting their head off the floor like my character did. I feel after the /me’s I provided along with my characters further injuries from the poor medical, I was more than within my rights to bleed out here.

Now I want to also say that I did not put in OOC that I had to fly out and simply asked you if you could hurry it up because I wanted to go asleep. This is actually shown in your clip that you have provided. You then replied with ‘it’s going to take as long as it takes’ to where I replied ‘alright’.

You say you started recording after the original situation at Mara turf which I find ironic, as you decided to go there solo and attempt to arrest someone during a hot zone and whilst being surrounded by 3 or 4 other PSK members. This is clear cut NVL in my opinion and I’m more than happy to provide a clip for this if necessary.

Now you also say that I had no intention to roleplay which is a very bold statement. Whilst I was in the cells I admit I was quite annoyed with the original situation, however I do not see no proof of this nor is this the case. You made no attempt to talk to me whilst I was in the cells.

One last thing I’m ashamed this had come to a report straight away with you not taking me to QE. This could of simply been squashed in the matter of minutes.

The fracturing of ribs is common during CPR. It is a natural complication for to the pressure required to create that circulation. For this, context is also important. You are roleplaying as a healthy, able-bodied male between the ages of 20-30. I say this because, I interacted with you, you described no pains/historic medical complications, prior to your arrival at custody, you were actively dealing drugs (riding around, constantly getting on and off) then shooting me followed by you quickly stealing a local car, placing your friend inside and fucking off.
With that, it is extremely unlikely that, in my opinion, you would have died from a few fractured ribs.

This is clear cut NVL in my opinion and I’m more than happy to provide a clip for this if necessary.

Please do. If you are willing to make said allegations, I am happy to discuss it and reap any repercussions if it is found that I was not valuing my life.

I don’t remember exact words but I vaguely remember asking you something (think it was about taking you out of cuffs) to which you didn’t even respond. Over the space of 20-30 minutes I was sat there in leg restraints and cuffs in the back of the cell, (I have a clip of this) I’m not sure how you want me move around. You also did not once attempt to try and get me out of cuffs. As for not responding I went afk for about 5 minutes as I had no interaction for 20 minutes and simply wanted to get a drink. Your clip being 17 minutes shows me that you have cut down and edited your video, cherry picking the part you want to report and cutting out any parts that you have gone wrong in.

My character yes is between 20-30 but has a long history of head injuries, leg injuries, concussions and all sorts of injuries that he has been operated on for and had multiple check ups with the NHS for. So for you to tell me how my character is doesn’t really make sense to me as you do not know the history of said character.

I do not recall you being in leg restraints as when I went to talk to you I think you ended up moving. I may of course be mistaken

This is exactly why I believe it could of been cleared up in qe within the matter of minutes, this information could of been told and helped you understand what happened, however you decided to report straight away.

I’m aware staff will likely ask the same question so I will answer as to why I didn’t. The standard of PSK (as a whole - initially didn’t realise I was dealing with PSK) leaves a lot to be desired. Discussions have been had in the past, but I can’t see that it has benefited. As for you, you’ve been around long enough to have a higher standard of roleplay of which I don’t think is seen.

So to clarify, you didn't ask someone to QE because you didn't like the "standard" you received? Maybe speaking with them in QE could have actually cleared up a lot. Yes you do not have to speak to someone in QE but would you not think it is best to try and get a better understanding of the situation before taking it to a report where someone could be banned?

Wasn’t a jab, solely stating that I was dissatisfied considering I know that he’s been around long enough to have a plethora of interactions to know what was enjoyed vs what wasn’t. Should have been clearer, my mistake

I only recall one other time we had to go QE together so this is really quite a bold statement to make. I do not appreciate the stigma you are trying to create on myself or my group. Simply i am unsure on what this 'pattern' of behaviour is.

I'm in two minds with this report. On the one hand, I do feel like RP could have taken place i you were to have "survived" the injuries and I do think you attempted to get out of your sentence by doing this. Perhaps not premeditated but certainly at least when you were presented with the opportunity.

Buuuuuut, on the other hand, it's entirely within the realm of possibility that you could reasonably die of these injuries....

I think I'm going to go with the benefit of the doubt here and decline this report, but only by the tiniest of tiny margins.... Please don't find yourself on the wrong side of a similar report again, I will find it very difficult to see your perspective next time...
