Please (in detail) describe the incident: The video once again really explains it for itself. This officer made attempts to arrest my friend, at which point I pulled out my knife in an attempt to put him into zipties.

This officer however, had other ideas. He decided it was a smart plan to panic, run away and then tase me. With a knife.. aimed at his back.

Win mentality like this really ruins the RP for all, and just shows that cops will do anything they can to win a situation sometimes. I did attempt to speak with this officer in discord liason, however after 5+ attempted to contact via OOC chat, this seemed to be unsuccessful.

My game almost crashed after being tased, therefore the cop survived, otherwise I doubt he would have.

Hello, I am the Officer he's reporting.

So, in my defense he was stood behind me with a small knife in his hand.  I had my taser out the whole time I was there (I can provide my perspective if need be) so when he pulled the knife before I had even jumped, I thought about whether I should or not and I concluded that by the time he would have swung the knife I could have been able to get away from him realistically.

Now, if it was a gun or say a larger knife the scenario would have ended differently for obvious reasons, but due to the fact that it was just a small knife anyone could have been able to get away before they could have swung.

In response to the knife being a 'small knife', that really doesn't make much difference in my opinion for this case. At the end of the day, a knife is a knife, when it's at the back of your throat. Sadly, server limitations stop you from just wrapping a knife around someones neck.

Though, I believe that you would have died in this situation if my game hadn't nearly crashed when I was tased.

When you say, "server limitations stop you from just wrapping a knife around someone's neck." that's the idea of roleplay, Right?  If you had done "/me puts knife around neck" or had said "This knife is wrapped around your neck" or something along those lines the situation would have ended differently.

I have reviewed the footage and spoke to other staff regarding this report.

In both clips, you are roleplaying with another individual at TireNutz where a second individual comes up behind you with a knife telling you to put your hands up and you run and jump forward, turn around and tase the criminal. Yes you had a taser out initially but you still had a knife to your back in what was a 1:1, possibly 1:2 as the initial person you were speaking to seems to be a friend (no weapons pulled by that indivdual)
