Please (in detail) describe the incident: was VDMd as part of a chase, happened twice actually, once by a Hemet, but that was without damage, so no name was clocked, and the Van incident by Monkey

i tried to resolve this over text afterwards, but got no reply

i will admit to breaking RP as a result, but he was so unremorseful about what he did, and i felt like RP was already shattered at the point of him suiciding to VDM us

Having looked at the video provided, I have seen quite a couple of things that I did not very much like. The breach of the VDM rule by Monkey is one of them, but by far not the most concerning one.

I would like you to answer me a few questions @System4200, will you?

First of all, did you and your friend at all read the rules of this server? If so, please be reminded of the rules A1.8, A2.5 and A1.2... Have a look back at the video you have provided and tell me: Do you think that the both of you have lived up to either one of those rules?

i already held my hands up to 1.8 in the claim, I wasn't going to pretend that didn't happen, I could have cut it from the video, but I broke a rule there and thought fair was fair.

I can only apologise about 2.5 the excuse of "everyone does it" is rarely good enough, so we wont be making that mistake again, but honestly every gang or group I've ever encountered must be a gang of telepaths to not be breaking this rule. so I was mislead into thinking that was acceptable

and in terms of 1.2, I never even fired my weapon... so i am pretty happy with my lack of RMDing

The 1.8 rule not only covers breaking roleplay in voice, it also includes "threats to report" - You did own up to that, which I respect.

It is not acceptable and noone needs to be a telepath, just speak to your friend in direct chat instead if it something that would alter the course of roleplay.

Considering the RDM - It is not only considered RDM once you fire a bullet, but also if you knock them out with low quality roleplay beforehand. I do not think only the words "Put your hands up" can be taken as high quality roleplay in any shape or form. 

Which brings me to another rule, that I forgot to mention earlier: A6.1.1

I did not see any high quality roleplay either, once you had put those guys in restrains. And to top it off, you left them standing there, unable to move or log out. 



For all those very reasons this report will be actioned as follows:

Monkey - will be receiving a 24h ban for A1.1
 

@System4200you and your buddy will both be recieving a 24h ban for the above mentioned rulebreaks, which should give the two of you time to brush up on your rules knowledge.
