I logged on the server and 1 - 2 minutes my gang was in some type of situation so I headed down to the location. Unpon my arrival I saw what had happened and I called out that there was a man behind the Qulin as he was shooting at my gang. At this point I am unarmed, literally a full hobo. Without iniation the person shoots me. You can see my character has no gear. I do not believe 3 minute video is needed due to the nature of this RDM. I also spoke to Stuart and I decided not to attempt to resolve this situation.

So i will explain myselve since you did not give me the chance to do so. I was trying to help my gang members out who where on the moment of getting executed and i was unable to setup before that so i decided to still try take out some of your guys. I was out of breath from running so i decided to run back to my quillin and drive away. I then managed to crash my car and i had to continue the gunfight. I managed to down 1 of your guys and then i got boxed in by the blackfish and the attackers on the other side. And then out of nowhere a hobo in a car shows up which i first gave warning shots to let him know its an active gunfight so i shot quite alot around the car but you kept driving cirles around me so i decided to focus on the person that may exit the blackfish as he did and leave the hobo for now but you decided to keep driving circles around me fully knowing it was a active gunfight so i decided to take you out so i could focus on the blackfish. 

If you still think my reasoning for shooting you is is out of bounds i would love to speak to you on teamspeak where things like this should end up in the first place.

Last time I checked you can not warning shot land vehicles. Besides the point I did not resolve the situation due to the nature of the RDM, it was that poor.

Even if you did initiate, there would be no way I would be able to hear you over the Blackfish.

The first few shots i did not mean to hit your car i do apologize for that but after i gave you the notice of this being a active gunfight and it being in a field in the middle of nowhere i made the assumption of you being involved in it and maybe telling them what i was doing by that point chosing to be in the gunfight so i shot you. i can not see what you have in your car for weapons etc. because you dont need to look like a rebel to be able to have weapons. and even if you did not have any weapons like you said which i also do not belive because you said in the video im gonna get him you still drove around me in a active gunfight in the middle of nowhere after me making it clear to you that it was indeed a active gunfight.

Your saying that because i'm in an active gunfight I have the right to be shot? I'm sorry but that's not how it works. I drove into the gunfight unarmed and not being part of the situation.

What I will say is the Server Rule regarding warning shots states helicopters. To me, warning shooting a ground target is not realistic although you continuously driving around in circles of an active firefight is also very unrealistic. 

Please submit a final response with the unedited video before we can close out this report with the verdict of the handling Staff Team Member.

Yesterday I deleted near to all of my Arma 3 Videos on my hard drive due to my second hard drive failing and not having enough storage for other things.

Although driving around in a gunfight is unrealistic it is not a rule break. Giving 'warning shots' to ground vehicles and then killing them is.

After reviewing all of the evidence and conferring with fellow Staff Members I have come to the following conclusion.

Firstly, It's unfortunate that you deleted the unedited video. 

Now what I will say is, although no verbal initiation had happened, it is clear that there was an active firefight on going and it's also very clear that you were spotting and hiding behind the rules that state that you cannot be shot unless you have been initiated on. RP is mean't to be based on real life. Driving around in circles with a guy clearly shooting at you is not realistic and you saying is not a rule break is correct however clearly hiding behind the rules. 

This does not excuse what Private Parts done though. Private Parts admitted himself that the first few "warning shots" hit you and apologized. After this he shot more at the ground to inform you of an active firefight and you decided to not leave so he considered you involved and giving away his position so he shot you. 

To conclude, today I will be issuing @Private-Parts a formal warning for doing such actions and remind him of the following:

(3.8) Warning Shots - 3 shots to the front and 3 shots to the rear of the helicopter with tracer rounds will be regarded as warning shots. This is the servers universal sign indicating that someone is telling you to leave. If you don't adhere to said warning shots, the helicopter may be fired upon.

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

If any situations arise with Private Parts within the next month, a ban will be more likely. Please be mindful of the rules before you act in game and @Zynn, it's really not realistic to drive in circles around a guy who has clearly shot towards you / to inform you of an active firefight. If it was me in that car and some guy shot towards me to inform me of an active firefight, I'd run like the wind.
