Please (in detail) describe the incident: Myself and several other officers were involved in a pursuit with Ronzo Bailey where he decamped from his vehicle next to the motorway and we lost eyes. The vehicle was searched, marked for impound as well as the reg checked and it came back to Ronzo. Officers were searching the area still when I saw a male matching the suspects description jump from the motorway where we originally lost eyes. The individual (Ronzo) was detained after he entered a local car and was boxed in immediately. At the time of being detained Ronzo had no idea what he was being detained for and once he was in cuffs we explained that the grounds for the arrest were taking a motor vehicle without consent. This was until we proved it was him who was in the pursuit. Ronzo remained in cuffs until he was back at the station and his phone was taken before he was let out of cuffs in the cells. Therefore he had no forms of communication. Approx 30 mins inot his cell time, a man claiming to have rented the vehicle in the pursuit off of Ronzo turned up at the front desk. This is clear metagaming as it is impossible for Ronzo to have communicated with this man whilst in cells, and the man claiming to have rented the car knew all the details of the arrest which is impossible as Ronzo did not know the full reason of his arrest until in custody. And suddenly a man appears in reception of the police station claiming to have rented the vehicle that was in the pursuit and claims that it was stole? We called both to liason and confronted them about it where they continued to lie through their teeth to @Liam , I will attach a recording of the liason to this report. I won't bother explaining all the details but its incredibly obvious. Here is another officers statement about the situation: statement from connor gore
on 02/02/23 ronzo was arrested and placed in the cells he had no way of communicating in game to his friend that turned up at the front desk if you listen to the discord clip you can hear him on the phone to his mate telling him to join discord and then proceeds to mute himself at this time they was not near each other in game as ronzo was in interview room and the other fella was in reception we asked the other guy woody about the vehicle he rented of ronzo and he said he got it at 7pm and then when the storm happened he came back on and drove to the garage the benefactor run on great ocean highway but after storm the keys would have been taken off him as the server reset them he back peddles on his story and says if we want to ban him then do it he's only been here 2 days woody failed to provide evidence in game that the two had an agreement in place for the lease of the vehicle and it is clear ronzo has asked him to come down to the station out of game to try and bail him out and provide a cover story.
