On this day we all planned to gather up, cook up a plan on how to kidnap Summer. We saw that Vangelico was open and decided to head over there. We scouted it out before, saw her guards and her husband in front and assumed she was there. When the time finally came, we geared up, headed over to Vangelico and as you can see in the clip, got out of our vehicles with guns immediately pointed towards her and her guards. All of them immediately put their hands up and were pretty compliant. There was an accidental radio activation by her husband but that was sorted OOC.

The first clip is my POV and the second clip is another POV of someone there. In the second clip you can see at 0:40 of the clip that while was getting zip-tied she presses her panic button, which according to logic, seems impossible as she has her hands crossed, getting them zip-tied. She also had a weapon pointed at her at the point of pressing it. I believe there was a rule break here, (G2.4) Value of Life and (C2.2) Exploiting. The police wouldn't have even showed up had she not pressed her panic button and we would've been out of there.

Two whole days of planning, the night of 10 people ruined, and a lot of money and time gone into the wind.

I guess there's a first time for everything, even getting reported.
I do wish you had asked me to come QE instead, so we could have had a chat about it and hopefully resolved the issue.
I am still happy to jump in QE.

If staff believes any rules have been broken, I am more than happy to accept that, but I'm just gonna say where my head was at.
I always aim to put roleplay first which is why even though I could have panicked the moment you drove up, I chose not to.
I put my hands up, and once I understood your demands to walk forward, I did.
I kept my hands up, until the moment the guy went in for zipties, and thought it a chance to try and hit my panic button.
I've always been under the assumption since I got the ability to panic, that since our panics are silent, it doesn't give an emote, so getting ziptied wouldn't cancel out any emote and "hide" it, so I didn't think there would be an issue there.
I wasn't sure I'd have time to press the panic, but took the chance, thinking that this would get police alerted to here, but that we would be on our way before then, making chase and potential negotiation RP possible.
Instead it just so happened that there was police in the area (Which I knew nothing about), you took too long to put me in the car, and Anton ended up basically breaking his own car (At least in my eyes).

I understand the frustration that brought with.
 
Hello.

As I was there for the situation as CPO for Summer Hall I will give you my side of the interaction.

Firstly it isn't very nice for your group to go to your police characters and search the report up to get my bwv and then posting it to a report without my consent. Next time ask if you can use it. My character name is always in the top left of the screen at all times so you can always ask in police channel who it is and then ask if you can use it. This has already created a situation where people think I provided the video for the report even though I didn't.

Exploiting

The panic for Judges and CPS has always been "silent" as there's no animation so I wouldn't say it was exploiting as in RP the panic button could've been anywhere on her, possibly in her gloves. I would say at most it would be poor quality roleplay but definetly not exploiting.

NVL

Again I don't see how she didn't value her life. She complied with your commands at all times and only hit her panic.

To your comment about if she didn't hit her panic the police wouldn't turn up

At 1:12 of my BWV you can hear PC Matthew Casey say "thank fuck I called into TFC" meaning that firearms units were already in the area before you guys even made the attempt. During our time at the jewelry store we saw a lot of suspicious vehicles circling the area including the same make orange car that you guys were using. I am not sure if that was you guys but we called it in just in case as all of us have experience with people and can read people and their movement/language well enough to know if something is up. Also one person in your group came to the jewelry store before acting very suspicious when speaking to us. It was made clear that it was one of you after as the person was wearing the same pants as your group was when you guys hit us. Also if she didn't hit her panic by the time you guys fumbled by getting her in the car a patrol unit would've noticed you and the situation would've gone the same way.

The last statement you made

RP doesn't always go as planned. This isn't scripted RP where everything just falls in place and things can go wrong and you need to accept that. As an ex crim I know how frustrating it can be to lose days worth of grinding for guns but this is life, not everything goes to plan.
