Which server did the incident take place on: GTA RP

Date of the incident: 12/10/23

Time of the incident (GMT) 24hr Format: 1800

What best describes this incident ?: NVL, Possibly Character seperation.

Please (in detail) describe the incident: We were out robbing when we spotted a White Issi that looked dodgy so we span it on him, we followed it to pharmacy and tried speaking with him however he did not respond. So we stepped out of the RS3 and told him to put his hands up. He decided to pull a gun out, there was 4 of us in total there, blatant NVL.

I'm also going to mention that the man inside the pharmacy was a Cutlass but on their traveller character. Quite a coincidence how they both pulled up there, maybe it was because they were communicating OOC but I'll leave it up to staff to decide.

We also tried to resolve it with them, however they did not seem to take it seriously.

I don't know what you are reporting here? the NVL claim is a joke, I got shot before I even got my gun out
furthermore, there were only one/two people with guns actually out and I got mine on me
my character will always take that chance, especially being on high alert due to being in an ongoing conflict.

you G check me with guns already out, giving me the feeling you weren't here to be friendly, I took my chance and lost but you still felt the need to report?
And finally, the character separation is hilarious, there was no interaction between me and the "cutlass" member on his second character
not only is he, not a cutlass but the pharmacy is a well-known place that is universally used by everyone, I fail to see the rule breaks
did the "not cutlass member" attempt to save or do anything to help me whilst I was downed? I believe you are reporting anything and grasping at straws.

Hey Revoke, I shot you since you jumped backwards and tried pulling your gun out(you can see it in the video). There was 4 of us total and 3 holding you up. Also, quit the OOC hate as well please, I'm not grasping at straws you simply broke server rules. This report would not have been on the forums if you came to liason so its your choice.

Good evening, @Riccardo! Thank you for making this report 🙂

I'll break down the two separate rules here to explain the decision behind this report!

The first rule you've suspicion of being breached is metagaming (OOC Information being used). Without solid evidence of these players communicating out of game or a much longer clip to show this, there is unfortunately not much we can prove.
They very well could have been communicating fairly within game prior to what you've seen whilst pulling up at the pharmacy, so it would be unfair for me to act upon this without solid proof. (If you were reported for the same thing, with the same context you'd also see it unfair if you received a metagaming ban)

The second rule you've suspicion of being breached is NVL. Here is what the rule reads as:
"At all times you are to value your life, if you are clearly outnumbered or at an obvious disadvantage you should comply with demands."
The reason a clip from another players POV was asked for is because we'd like to have seen if the player behind you was also aiming a gun at the reported player.
We cannot see this, therefore the player is not clearly outnumbered or at an obvious disadvantage. This was in fact a 1v1, he attempted to retaliate to you pulling a gun out and failed miserably leading to him being shot and downed by yourself.

Due to all of the above, I will be declining this report today but please do not let this put you off of making more reports in the future!
