Brief Summary: Text messages on mobile phones saving.

Detailed Suggestion: So it's just a preference really, it would be good if the text messages on your mobile phone saved unless deleted. They seem to delete after so many days I am not sure of the exact times it does, but remembering the chat's or people you have contact through text messages would be nice

The Pros: Like I said, just a preference. Although you could say it would be a reminder of whether or not you have communicated / rp'd with the said contact before.

The Cons: Dev work

For text messages each time you connect it loads the latest 350 messages (350 total not per conversation) so if you delete some messages/conversations then reconnect it'll re-show older messages

For group chats it shows the latest 250 per group chat

Would be nice to be able to pin important messages in certain chats. Or be able to set the limit of text messages your phone has in your phone settings. If all your messages are already stored, surely we could get access to more of them right?

Fetching all messages would impact server performance which is why texts, group chat messages, tweeds etc are limited

Can't text messages or even group chat messages be cached on the user's side? (If not already).

If the impact comes from making that making requests for the messages, wouldn't it take off the work-load?.

Although if that's not where the impact is, could you say what causes the impact?
