In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I landed a helicopter in green zone and was caught, then later knocked out someone (who did agree to be kidnapped) in the green zone and was caught doing so by the same admin.

Why should we unban you ?
Because rpuk is pretty much the only reason I have arma and this evening I got just exited because I could play again after 10 months or so and although I  did push my luck a bit; it's  not a reflection of how I really play the game - or I'd have been banned a long time ago.
Plus my crimes aren't violent or destructive in comparison to rdm's and vdm's, neither of which I have convictions for.

I was genuinely exited to get back in the community - now i'm lost. Tried playing on -REMOVED- after I got banned but it's just not the same

I have played on rpuk a lot in the past so I'm familiar with the rules. I'll admit landing in the greenzone was an act of hubris which fortunately at the time I got away with and that later knocking out a civilian in the same place was done so without due consideration of my location.

At the time of being banned I was like aahh whatever don't even care it's stupid anyway but now I miss my helicopter... and my bank account and licenses and fraands

You got kicked to read the rules earlier before you landed in the greenzone, why did you not read them? When we kick people off we give the player a chance to learn from what they did wrong and from thereon play by the rules, clearly you did not care?

I was kicked to read the rules as a result of landing in the green zone not before it. I’m sure DELETER can verify that.

I didn’t care because as I’ve said I’m familiar with the rules and chose instead to push my luck and see what happens. I got caught, I learned my lesson and now certainly have no plans to do it again.

The final straw however which was knocking out a poor fellow in the greenzone I understand is against the rules, but it was also not against the victims will. It may even be possible to argue that in fact my damning actions were done close to, but outside the greenzone. I’d check but I can’t log in

I don’t want to plea and grovel at your feet for re-acceptance but at the same time I am very keen to re-join. I am and have been a committed player for a long time as is reflected in my account and forum profile. The night I got banned was after a solid day of grinding where I just wanted to mess around, but being kicked was a sharp reminder of how serious the community is.

I was thinking to myself when going to sleep that evening how typical it is that the only times I push my luck and break the rules I get caught and banned.

my final thought is I think although the admin had reason in the moment to ban me - he in doing so lost a committed member (who...really wants to come back)

Misread ban-notes, yes, you were kicked only 2 hours prior to the ban for landing in the greenzone. 

The question arises, were they your friends, and was it with their permission? As explained in the ban-notes, you were running around in GZ knocking out and robbing people. That does not really sound like something people would allow you to do, they should in all honesty also have known about that rule. 

Also, I'm getting the vibe that you're just trying to put it as "You've lost a valuable member and your community will not benefit from that" instead of actually showing us that you put thia appeal in to show us that you now will follow the rules and understood what you did wrong. You also pull in that we can see on your forum profile that you are a dedicated member, so I will adress that.. Where?

The first issue I had with the admin was for landing  in the green zone, he impounded my heli and kicked me to return once I read the rules. My ban came from the same admin a couple hours later for knocking out the guy, but the admin caught me mid action with no context. I tried explaining to him when he pulled me aside but he used the old if someone told you to jump off a cliff would you? thing so I just left it at that.

I actually don't know who the guy was, I was in kavala recruiting hobos to drive my diamond trucks after the storm - he then approached me and offered to allow himself to be kidnapped for a share of the ransom money. There was only around half hour left before the storm so I was like yeah sure why not and began to kidnap him; albeit in the GZ. The thing was I didn't have zipties so I had to do it a few times to keep him on the floor while I bought some <-- this I know I shouldn't have done because GZ but in honesty I wasn't thinking about that my mind was focused on how to get hobos to do my dirty work after the storm.

This confirms that the admin arrived out of context because firstly with 'running around knocking out people' I can see why he'd think I was doing this because in the process of trying to knock out the guy I hit another guy by accident; who in fact was one of the guys I recruited to drive a truck after the storm.  AT NO TIME DID I ROB ANYBODY I PROMISE

I have been an active member for the most part of more than two years (IN GAME), but I do have the awards on my profile to prove. Granted I haven't been active for the lat 10 months but only because I didn't have a PC at all, I literally finished building the new one  2 - 3 days ago I lost count cus I been gaming so much xD.

When I was a fully active member I started and was a member of a number of gangs (the pack, universal crime cartel, universal crime syndicate), if you read the recruitment page of one of them you'll see we grew from 3 members to 22 in 3 days or something ridiculous like that which I would say is proof enough that I'm serious because I'm the one that did recruiting. 

I'm pretty sure the day I got banned I started a new Mafia called The Alliance with full intentions of seeing it come to fruition. A non-committed member of the community would not waste their time on things like that. I'm also a solo player, by this i mean I come here because I enjoy it, not because I'm with a group of people and only play when they do, I play alone most of the time unless I meet people in game which I think shows commitment on a personal level.

With regard to how any of my contributions are beneficial to the community I'd say that in general a contributing member is a beneficial member. In my case in particular, especially when I used to play, as is revealed in one of the recruitment pages; my gangs have often had a focus on mentoring hobos, of course I did this because I could make good money from it, but still I often take in hobos, gear them up and make money with them. I even have the steam name (if you want it) of one of them who I did this with the night I got banned, it was after I payed him and he left that I went to kavala to recruit more - see?

I have also been an ambassador of rpuk since the first day and on a number of occasions I've recommended it to friends

Landing in Greenzone

Any vehicle whose feet doth not touch the ground are forbidden within any 300 meters of any zone most green.

Greenzones by definition are supposed to be safe and by not only flying within, but landing in it, disturbs the peace by introducing rotating blades spinning at god knows how many RPM attached to what is essentially a kerosene storage container with windows. In other words; a safety hazard.

Knocking out/Robbing in Greenzone

Any weapon capable of causing damage or death to humans must be safely stored upon its owners waist so as not cause damage or death.

Any attempt of incapacitating, de-financing or both of an individual in the green zone is not permitted.

Similar to what was said about the helicopter, a greenzone is a place of refuge from the tragedies occurring quite endlessly within all two hundred and something kilometers of coastline. By both holding and using my weapon to demobilise  an individual regardless of if he consented to it, defies the definition of what it means to be in that space. Therein lies a problem.
