In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Because, I was banned following Rule 2.8, a Rule That had previously been read, and amongst all other rules read forgotten, There was a big issue, to which a player had started with another player, and then went to an admin regarding it, a situation to which I 'came across' and initiated a recording Just 'Incase' a ban report upon the mugger was sent, To which then involved myself as I had to sit there, and try to clear up the situation, to which ended up in a backwards and fawards, Until it came to a direct voice chat, where I was verbally assaulted, and I called him a dickhead, walked off, and then refused to partake in the situation,
Then proceeding to Teamspeak, I sat there, trying to find my push to talk option, as some of the stuff that had been said was making me laugh, stuff such as "I tend to ask someone to teamspeak to speak to them and clear stuff up, I do not report people," ( as that had made me laugh given the obvious 'Well, why am I banned then, without a teamspeak invite'.
Why should we unban you ?
Yes, Dispite my god-complex, which really, was suppose to of been muted, as not to promote an unneeded and unnecessary toxic environment I would like to put it on record, as previously mentioned that I did not know of the rule regarding the threats of reports, although it had been read, there is over 121 Rules and subrules to learn off by heart, and given I had been in the server for Twenty four hours before this situation unfolded, I feel, it is fair that the timeframe regarding this relatively minor rule, a rule that I feel is silly, but none the less, respect anyway, to show allowance regarding my ban,
I do not believe it fair, that as a person that spent most of his OOC chats havinga laugh with other players, as well as being the first to answer questions on how to play, ( a situation where I have recently received the answers, so I'l pass them faward ) and otherwise, remain in good standing with the player community dispite my short time being here, receive a permenant ban, for a first time offending, to which he has openly apologised for,
My character, dispite what teamspeak may suggest is that of a flawless personality, one whom seeks to help and further the community as a whole,
I am truly apologetic for my misdeeds, even when I had ran up to said player, metagaming his name, I stood there and apologised in both an IC and OOC format,
I believe however also, I am a victim of "Well, I can't ban him for mugging me, so I'l ban this other guy for ---" as the latter, there was proof in terms of OOC chats, and that is how I believe that situation to be as there had been nothing to disprove this for me, yet stuff to actively lean towards that conclusion,
As for my personality, I think it is worth stating, Since joining yesterday, I have been shot, mugged, Three of my cars destroyed, kidnapped and left in the middle of no-where, CDM'd, and I have only complained once, in regards to a group of police forcing a situation so they may fine me, All the others, have been dealt with calmly, and proffessionally, even when a shooting comes from a RDM, finding out, I was collateral in a 'gang-war' type situation, I was friendly, and calm, When someone ran over me earlier, left me glitched into the floor, I remained calm and composed, simply trying to figure out a way of getting myself up, and reassuring the driver I would not report him, and understood that lag can be an issue when driving, I find myself a very calmed person, unless it comes down to something that I feel, is increadibly and ethicly wrong, such as Harrassing players in the OOC channel, Or Permenantly banning, and then proceeding to be passive-aggressive to a first-time banned, and even then, It was stated "One moment" in an attempt to give me time to Activate push to talk on my microphone, so I would not be seen as simply laughing at what was being said, However, in these situations, I am brash, and I will say the first thing that comes to mind, apologising for it, as soon as i've had time to calm.
Now, there is something I'd like to apologise for;
I do not believe that if Jeffk handled this Ban appeal, that it would be treated with fairly, as I feel he in turn handled the ban in a rough way, I'd request he stays away from the ban appeal, aside from speaking to the necessary admin whom will deal with it, on his PoV, and yes, his Point of view, may turn me into a snide, egotistic, mentally disturbed male, whom simply likes to shout, I do not believe his approach was that of a blanket approach, and for it, I didnt actively seek to show him any disrespect, yet as it came out like such, ( something samatlewis had told me, ) I would put it forth now, that I am apologetic it seemed that way, and I do understand this simple request will simply add to the time I will be waiting for an unban
However, with this, I've had to remake an account, Samatlewis has stated "We haven't taken away your right to appeal," However, when trying to appeal, there is no ability to post, so with my permission to appeal, and my wish to not further break any rules or 'avoid' a ban, I will withhold writing, or posting on this account,
