In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for robbing someone in a blue zone. Having an upholstered weapon in a blue zone and killing someone in a blue zone. Which is a breach of the following rules:

(6.1) You are unable to kill anyone in a green or blue zone (Punishment is a ban)

(6.2) Lethal weapons must be holstered inside both green and blue zones at all times.

(6.3) You are unable to rob/knockout anyone in a green or blue zone

Why should we unban you ?
These rules were not broken out of badness, rather purely accidental.

The issue took place in Athria police station, an unpopulated area with little fencing or security. When myself and the other committed the offending actions we weren't paying attention to where we were.

Without checking we assumed the area was 'just another part of Athria' as there were a number of random civilians iding in the area. We were on the prowl for robbery targets and went in to attack the people in the video without checking our maps and were hence ignorant to the fact we were in a blue zone.

I realize now the importance of checking where you are before you engage people the way that I did, as to avoid breaking rules. I will make sure to avoid repeating this in future and believe that I should be unbanned due to the accidental nature of the offence.

Why do you think we have these rules in place?

I believe these rules are in place so that role-play is possible. 

Without these rules players would be unable to log on to the server and gear up before being robbed or shot, which would result in an experience where players would log on and instantaneously have to run away from robbers( who would most likely gun them down). Rather than one where they go out and seek fun RP opportunities.

Police RP would also be inhibited in a similar manner. 

In general the rules are stop chaos at the spawn and to make sure RP isn't overly inhibited by robberies.

If we unban you, what is going to stop you from breaking more rules and how can we trust that you wont?

What would 'Stop' me from breaking the rules would be my own willingness to not be disruptive or annoying along and the obvious presence of admins who enforce the rules.

You can trust that I won't break the rules because :

a) I have only been banned (from the server) for accidental infringements never deliberate.

b) I have played on and off for a long time and haven't been repeatedly banned or warned by admins.

c) I'm not a troll, I have no interest in deliberatly  causing grief through rule breaking to other players. 

d) I have re-read the rules in full and feel more competent in my knowledge and understanding of them.

e) I have learned from my mistakes and the infringements previously committed, or any, will not be repeated.

As a whole I wouldn't have made the effort to explain myself If I was going to break the rules again, this article has sat for almost a week and I have put in real effort to appeal what happened to the best of my ability and to respond quickly. I think it would be uncommon for anyone to put as much effort into their appeal as I have and then to go back on the server with intent to commit further infringements.  

Hence I believe you can trust that I will not be breaking rules again.  Thanks for your consideration.
