Changing my name to "1.6 Wilco for Racism
Why should we unban you ?
First, I would like to apologise for my actions and to wilco. When wilco was “under fire” from a different community I took it upon myself to join in with their actions and for that I can only apologise and express my regret. My lengthy time on ALUK was spent without me causing much trouble for other people and I generally stayed out of the drama and other things that went on during my time there. Until obviously more recently when I made the mistake of changing my name to “1.6 wilco for racism.” This was at the time intended as a joke between friends albeit at the expense of another person and that was wrong. In the previous unban the thing I saw you had the issue with was that “management don’t deserve to deal with this bullshit.” The issue is here being that this wasn’t an attack on management or staff it was just a joke at the expense of wilco as a person due to a stupid comment he may or may not have said. This was not a malicious attack on wilco or anything of the sort and was meant as a joke between me and the other people in TS at the time. The fact that we were essentially being watched, stalked however you wish to look at it when off a RPUK platform still does concern me a little. In my mind if it was on RPUK TS and was intended to have some sort of effect on a RPUK platform then yes it would have been justified and frankly I wouldn’t off have done it there knowing that it would be seen by others (other than wilco) and generate drama. In the last appeal, it was also implied that I had succumbed to the level of the other “salt ridden people.” I would dispute this saying it’s no different to those who mock trump for the comments he has made only in this case it’s difficult to confirm the legitimacy of what wilco was allegedly saying to people and a joke was made about it.
Furthermore, I feel that I should be unbanned based on the principle of past unbans. More recently mass rdmers have been unbanned some of which have done far worse things than I have been unbanned. If we take this idea further apparently its now acceptable to call someone a faggot while having a lengthy ban history and still manage to get unbanned. For me I feel this is unfair in a way seeing as I had a pretty clean record prior to this and this one comment removed me from the server and its being made out to be an attack on management’s efforts. In no way is this meant to get sympathy or anything of the sort but rather put into perspective how excessive the ban seems from my point of view. I am aware that when these bans are issued and people come to get unbanned it’s not just that one incident that’s taken into consideration but rather their entire time and their current attitude on the server. My track record is good but by no means fantastic but in this instance (however you may feel otherwise) I am not here to cause trouble and this action I was banned for is certainly not representative of me as a person nor as a player on the server.
