First off - please bear in mind I will be taking most text from the appeal I raised back in August last year that was ultimately insta-denied due to the nature of the ban. It's been almost 8 months now and I feel it is worth re-raising to repeat my serious regrets to this text chat misdemeanour in a private vehicle channel.
**Last Augusts dialogue**
I am deeply ashamed by the whole series of events so have taken time to appeal this. I'd like to make a semi-disclaimer before I begin, when I describe this incident I am in no way trying to justify anything that occured or make this situation appear less important than it is, racism is not tolerable and was punished adequetly.
So on the Saturday night (night of the ban) me and a few friends had just finished playing a couple of hours of CSGO, I had been drinking and was intoxicated at the time we decided to switch over to Arma to play on RPUK, this was my first mistake. I chose to spawn at my house at Rebel #1 to await pickup by two of my colleagues via MH9, upon their arrival I jumped in and we proceded to fly to the Factory to provide backup for other group members. It was at this point I, in my drunken state, decided to make fun of our squad name 'Snicker Squad' by changing a word to a racist slur, I typed this in Vehicle chat to the two other people in the MH9. Never did I address any of these slurs to anyone, it was not targeted and neither was it clever (once again not trying to justify anything). I believe I recall the racist slur being re-used to abbreviate an 'ETA' message which I also posted in Vehicle Chat. As a 21 year old man and a regular member to the community this was both immature and irresponsible, I look back with sheer shock at what I said as it is completely unlike me.
Shortly after the above took place I was banned by Matt on the grounds of Racism.
Why should we unban you ?
I am not the first to make such a silly mistake, the thing is compared to other cases of similar nature my outburst was in a private chat in-vehicle with two gang members at the time, no one was unwillingly exposed to the awful language used as atrocious satire at the time. HOWEVER as stated above I am not trying to downplay this, it definitely should have been acted upon and every day spent banned from the server has been earned. I know for a fact I will come back and continue to display the clean slate I proudly wore for almost 2 years prior to this ban, please let me show you.

This community has become something close to me over the (almost) 2 years I have been a member here. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many interesting, colourful and amazing people - so many of which I would happily call a friend. Up until the 15th July I reflected my love for ALUK/RPUK by following rules closely, in fact I had never even been reported. I like to think that as a player I held roleplay to its highest standard, making sure everyone I ran into on Altis came out feeling like they had a rewarding experience the likes of which you should expect on any roleplay server.
I am not and never will be a racist. I feel sick to my skin thinking about what I said and who it may have affected, I apologise sincerely to those who had to read it. I think I should be given a second chance because I can honestly lay hand on heart and tell you there will be nothing like this from me again, I will continue to better myself day after day through talking to players in game and helping the wider community enjoy their experiences with me.
The rule that I broke was
(1.2) Discrimination of any kind is punished by a permanent ban without appeal.
In my incidents case I openly typed racist slurs in vehicle chat, breaking the above rule.
The person that was banned that night is not the person talking to you now. I was in an ugly state and the words that I typed can not be justified by excuses - I am truly sorry, it will never happen again.
