In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
So as some backstory ,I was arrested for something along the lines of "attempted murder of an officer" by officers that I knew from previously being in the Police and from in-game stuff, this had been a regular for me seeing as though my "gang" was proclaimed to be a "terrorist" organisation so for what ever reason the officers gave me an ultimatum, either pay a 75k ticket or be tazed agenst the wall 10 times, I chose being tazed because why wouldn't you, after somebody started leathaling me I ran to a car which turned out to my mine and started to attempt to do donuts in defiance as a sort of "fuck you pigges" for tazing me, during these "donuts" I hit one officer by mistake as he was in the way and then another officer Moonwolf came over not realising the context of the situation and what I was doing and thought I was trying to escape NPAS and therefore initiated on my tires, in doing so entered the range of the donut and was therefore knocked over and then knocked over again which then causes his death, I believe the admin that delt with me said something along the lines of I was hitting him to stop him shooting my tires, which isn't true, there was plenty of police there that if they wanted to could and would have shot the tired of the car.


I admit me doing donuts in a small place with a lot of people was incredibly reckless and stupid and I take full responsibility for that , but that does co inside with my Role play character as the proclaimed "Worst Criminal on Altis" yet this doesn't give me the right to "VDM" people.

Why should we unban you ?
I believe you should unban me because, I did not intend to use the car as a "weapon" in order to stop him from shooting my tires, in doing my donuts of defiance I ending up hitting him a total of 2-3 times which I can see why the staff member would believe that I was just hitting him in order to stop him shooting at me, but all I really intended to do was do donuts , in the video of the incident below you can see me begin turning and then use my hand break in order to make the circles smaller as I realised I did not have enough room to work with this in turn caused me to hit more officers which then added to the VDM count, I can understand from the staff level perspective that what I did was stupid and shouldn't have happend but I retain the fact that I did not intend to use the car as a weapon.

I spoke with the officers involved and from what I could tell he didn't feel as though I was doing it to stop him from shooting my tires etc, but I still understand how it was a bit excessive as I hit him quiet a few times and just because we where all fooling around doesn't give me the right to take it too far.

I have been on the server for nearly a year now and I understand that I should have been more responsible for my actions and payed attention to everything that was going on at the time, I deeply regret what I did , during the year I have been on the server I believe I have demonstrated my roleplay abilities very well and shown to staff that I can follow the rules and will continue to follow the rules in the future if unbanned , I know and understand the rules of the server and I'm disappointed in my self that something like this has happend.

At the end of the day I completely understand why my ban was issued, as soon as I hit the first individual I should have stopped the car and apologised but I didn't and therefore I ended up hitting more people, I have a huge respect for the rules of the server and those that enforce it and its a shame that something like this happend, It was my fault.

Unfortunately as demonstrated by many others, a clean track record up until this point doesn't necessarily make the difference here. Weather or not you intended for the car to be used as a weapon, ultimately your reckless use of a vehicle resulted in the death of another player.

As you've pointed out, the correct thing to do would have been to have gotten out straight away and apologize to those involved and ensure that the player affected by this was okay, you decided not to do so, I'd like to know why? You've pulled out your "I've been on the server for nearly a year now" card, so I'm certain you understand what you should have done in those circumstances.

Additionally, could you cite the VDM rule and explain what it means and why it is in place on RPUK.

The situation was a couple days ago now but from what I can remeber I didn’t stop because I didn’t really acknowledge what really happend, we where all messing around and although this is no excuse it was only until I hit and  the player went flying was when I realised “oh shit” and stopped the car to attempt to make amends to the situation.

[SIZE=medium]The vehicle deathmatch rule is in place to stop individuals using there cars as weapons to create death and explosions, It’s in place on RPUK to help prevent people from using there cars as  there primary weapon, as being murdered by a car in most circumstances wouldn’t constitute any form of high quality roleplay apart from with maybe a medic,[/SIZE]

Now, looking at that video you provided just fills me with more concern as that looks far more to me like the actions of a troll as you get in the car and you are more than aware behind you is clear yet you drive forward into the path of two cops that are very clearly in the way and as such run one of them over and proceed to drive out, do a half circle then pause a moment before dirving forward again heading right for another cop that is running over to you, then proceeding to do donuts and pulling your handbrake attempting to hit an officer running around you. Not a single part of this looks innocent to me and even from your little giggling again seems far more trollish than some innocent mistakes. After seeing that I am half tempted to deny and send you away to the deeper pit at this rate so convince us why on earth we should trust you at all to even consider unbanning you? How can you help lessen our worry that while you are on the server nothing like this will be happening and we would not need to station a staff to watch you while you play (which we certainly will not be doing and wasting our staff's time)?

I completely understand your concern, from an on looking perspective from that clip it would look as though I am here just to mess around, but I can assure you thats not the case, I have been around for nearly a year know and apart from at the very start where I was issued a ban for RDM I have not showed any intent to actively break the rules or cause trouble on purpose, if on a rare occurrence I do break the rules then I try my best to rectify the situation and make sure all parties are happy, there has only been one incident were I didn't and that was merely because I didn't believe as though I was in the wrong, after a staff member corrected me and showed me that I was in fact in the wrong I accepted the warning baring in mind by this point compensation was out the window.

If you speak to other staff members I would hope that they would say positive things about myself and my roleplay abilities, I along with others went out of our way to create extended roleplay stories with the police on the forums and in-game creating propaganda videos for our gang and introducing a new kind of roleplay that I personally had only seen once before, this eventually lead to a small scale server event with myself and my group in the centre, this proving further more that I am not just here to "troll".

In the future if unbanned I will refrain from pulling reckless stunts as seen in the video above although it was a one off thing that I can assure you will never happen again not only because it was incredibly stupid thing to do but also because it got me no were, although at the time it seemed funny and no body seemed to really be affected by it I still shouldn't have done it as not only does it make me look like a bit of a tit but It also makes the server look bad if its "long term" members are pulling stunts like that , clearly breaking the rules and for that I apologise, although we where all having a laugh it doesn't excuse the fact that I broke a server rule in front of them.

At the end of the day I made a big mistake getting in that car and attempting to do donuts in such a small place with so many other players within the vicinity, and for that I do apologise, I hope that my past experience of only having 1 or 2 hiccups and reputation for  providing high quality roleplay and being part of a community like this one is enough to give me another chance.

For now I am satisfied you understand how you fucked up and why the staff member that watched this banned you for it. Experience should have helped flip that little switch inside that sooner that says "Maybe I just fucked up and should stop" considering you ran over the first Officer when you were not boxed in by them and were completely able to reverse backwards instead and try the other hole between the sandbags.

Don't let me down as I don't want to see you in the appeal section anytime soon. Unbanned.
