I'm not really sure. I haven't joined the server in two days, but when I tried to join today it says I've been banned... today? I'm not sure what the "OOC Abuse" message means, but I certainly haven't abused OOC in the past (to my knowledge).

Why should we unban you ?
If I've been banned for a genuine reason, then I can respect that, but I've been banned after being inactive for two days and I'm left with no real explanation as to why. Maybe it's just an error, like a mistype or something, I'm not sure, but I really enjoy this server and I don't want to have to leave.

and the answer to you question is no. It's not a mistake, you we're banned for a valid reason.

This is where someone would say, keep your opinion's to yourself, bit of commonsense and all that stuff you know what I mean? But no, you decided to slate someone's work all over side chat, which the person who did the intro dedicated a lot of time and effort to do that intro.
 
Quite frankly what you said is just out of order and out right disrespectful.
 
So tell me, why did you decide to say what you said? do you think that's the kind of person we want on this server? 
 
Ah, that... I spoke with an admin about that shortly after I said it - I didn't catch his name, but he teleported to me and spoke to me about it, and I apologised and confessed I was having a rough day and I didn't mean to take it out in such a rude manner. I made a public apology in OOC chat shortly after, too. I know it was stupid and unfair of me to say that, and I sincerely apologise.

 
It's a very popular phrase on the internet, I can't imagine you haven't heard it said before.
I didn't mean any harm by it, the entire premise of the phrase is that it completely over-exaggerates how bad something is.

 
So ultimately your defense is 'Other people do it on the internet, so why can't I'?

People do a lot of things over the internet that they shouldn't do and are frowned upon or outright condemned in a modern, western society. I feel I do not need to point out how weak that defense is, in addition to the lack of effort and your seemingly nonchalant responses makes me wonder, is this just a minor inconvenience for you, or are you genuinely aware that you shouldn't be saying things like that.
