Why do you think you were banned: I was banned for G4.5 (NLR after being revived), C2.3 (logging out whilst downed), C6.5 (abuse of dev position) and for lying to staff to get unbanned after I initially banned myself
Why should we unban you: I want to start by taking full responsibility for my actions and expressing that I understand why the rules I broke exist and how the actions negatively affected roleplay and my trust within the community, especially considering the responsibilities that exist with being a developer.
I fully regret how I handled the situation afterwards when I had calmed down, instead of immediately making management aware of what had happened, I made poor decisions which made it look like I was trying to avoid accountability, including lying to a staff member to get the ban I placed on myself revoked. I allowed my thoughts of the potential consequences to influence my choices and by doing so I waited too long to notify management which made it worse for myself. I did apologise to the staff member that I was dishonest to after my current ban was placed and I understand this damaged trust between myself and the staff team.
Between my unban and the re-ban, I didn’t violate any additional rules and made a solid effort to follow the server rules. Whilst this doesn’t excuse my actions, it does show that my behaviour during the incident isn’t reflective of how I normally intend to behave on the server.
If given another opportunity, I will make sure to follow all of the rules and I understand that trust will need to be rebuilt.
