Seasons greetings Jack,
What an enticing tale you've written out for us, it's a shame this is more hallmark than true crime.
The evidence was extensive before the ban had even been placed, your friends who had their own tickets were having their own chance to explain and convince the staff dealing with it they weren't compliant in your disregard for rules.
No personal messages were demanded - Nice try but that's not how we do things here.
The tickets, the only concern raised was that of a toddler throwing his toys out the pram because they couldn't accept they were in the wrong.
Each different approach to aid you to understand it was YOUR fault alone went onto selective hearing ears.
This was a habit of yours as a player, that had been documented previously with your time on your police character.
Let's get into the ticket where you complain about multiple staff getting involved, there was a reason for this.
You refused to keep your responses within the ticket which the staff members then had to relay what you had privately messaged them, you tried to hide your responses behind what you believed to be untouchable ground.
The first ticket;
You were unhappy that as a team of staff we don't share evidence with banned players and the reasoning behind this was explained to you.
This was not something you were happy with.
I'll go over this again with you just so it's privately and now publicly clear WHY evidence and information we store on bans is NOT shared with the player,
- Let's say we have caught you breaking rule A, you get Banned for rule A, you open an appeal and omit to breaking rule B which is the rule you believed you were banned for breaking. We now have 2 offences committed. - If we had told you the details of your ban you would calculate to appeal only rule A.
- Person X has brought forward some information regarding what they believe to be a rule break from another player - They don't want to report this as it has sensitive information OR puts them at risk of being harassed and outcast. The banned player doesn't get to see this information. Ever.
- The player is banned and claims "I have genuinely no clue what I've done." (That's your words direct from your second ticket), it's not our responsibility to hand you the key to unlock your chains, if the banned player truly doesn't know how they've broken a rule then how could they ever be trusted not to break it again? A crucial step in the appeals process is the player understanding and recognising their own fault otherwise they end up here repeatedly to a point we close that door for good.
Both of those apply to you. We will not be sharing what evidence we have regardless of how unfair you feel it is.
Especially after the scale of the tantrum you threw after your tickets were mutually resolved - More on that later.
You asked for it to be closed,
If nothing's gonna change just close up but I can't appeal if I genuinely don't know what Iv'e done
Ticket closes, then almost immediately after, you privately messaged the member dealing with it
are you happy to jump in a qe with me?
you don't have to say anything if you don't want to, I just wanna put some things across
The answer you received was a short, simple no.
You had the opportunity to put whatever you had in mind across in the ticket.
This raised a red flag. Typically when this happens it means a player thinks they have the gift of a silver tongue and can manipulate their ideal outcome over voice communications.
We keep information within tickets for a reason, to document, archive, allow the whole team to add insight/perspective, training newer staff to prepare them to handle things themselves in future and prevent emotions becoming sway tactics.
The next ticket;
Hey, just opening this because I'm not massively happy with the outcome of a recent ticket of mine.
I am only raising this to management because I simply feel like it's unfair to be left in the dark after the copious amount of time I've spent, and don't understand how it's possible for me to appeal something if I don't know what I've done.
If possible, could this ticket be handled by someone not affiliated with the original team that banned me/voted on my ban to see if there's any clarity I can get?
I've only drawn out the important sentences however, should you request the FULL demand I can post this in full for you.
A different member of staff, compliant to your request for impartial eyes took charge and they stated
I'll make one thing clear; you are banned, and will remain banned for G3.1.
The ban placed is correct and justified. Just because you don't know what you did doesn't mean it didn't happen.
If you genuinely cannot figure out what led to your ban, it would appear you haven't thought hard enough as to what you may have done which resulted in the ban being placed. I'm undecided on whether that's cause for alarm.
We're not going to inform you about why you were banned; brainstorm, you've got plenty of time for it. When it comes to the appeal day (whenever you choose to appeal), you'll hopefully have an idea of what may have led to the ban and discuss appropriately. If you still genuinely do not know, more will likely be revealed in an appeal (not a guarantee).
This is a standard practice for situations like the one you're in. I can empathise with your perspective, but there is a reason why we withhold information. Yes, it's intentional.
You will get the same answer, regardless of which person types it, staff, staff lead or management.
Your tactic then started to shift, it was no longer the unfairness of the process, it was now the fear of your private messages being "aired" on an appeal.
When that got you nowhere you wanted to accuse members of staff for corruption.
Again you moved away from the ticket and started to privately message the staff member.
For the already mentioned reasons this wasn't going to fly, your DM to that staff member was posted within the ticket
Hey mate, I just want to DM you because I don't want to put the reason in the ticket - as that's the point of wanting a discreet ticket.
It's in relation to a staff member and the way the entire situation was handled, beyond just me.
Is this enough? - The only reason I'm not being specific is because I want to raise it beyond the staff member's level, and without sounding rude - you are the same level as said staff member.
The entire staff team from management to level 1 are volunteers, believe it or not we don't sleep in tron suits contrary to your entitlement you do not get permission to take staff issues to their DM's without invitation - without sounding rude of course.
Your next DM was to claim the first member of staff was on a "fishing expedition".
You had no evidence of this and decided to just start throwing your shit at the wall in hopes something might stick.
We don't like shit on our wall. You can shit on your own walls, thankyou.
After being told your allegation was as sturdy as wet cardboard and didn't reach our requirements for an escalation, this was your response
I'm going to put a pause on updating the ticket, I have something that I need to put across - but right now isn't the right time for me to do this.
If you would be so kind as to leave the ticket open until at most 9am this morning, I would appreciate this, just so that I have time to work out how to say what I want to say without sounding rude.
I want our communication to remain respectful and effective, where I am not in a fair mindset to properly do so.
You were told our position would remain unchanged on the twice, in detail, previously discussed matter.
From the teams perspective you were upset you got caught and couldn't get all the information to wiggle your way out and it was suggested that the "fishing expedition" was your own and that if this was causing distress to your emotional restraint, you should focus on that before an appeal.
You tagged the second member of staff at 8AM stating "Please close this."
The first member of staff who if memory recalls, was the only staff member willing to dedicate time this early, Asked a simple question confirming if you were sure which isn't uncommon.
We do this often to ensure we give ample opportunity for a players voice to be heard.
He didn't have to, it was for YOUR benefit.
You took this as an aggressive attack and once again went red.
Member 3 of the staff team took over, gave you a detailed, easy to understand response explaining why without ANY details or evidence you don't get to speak to the manager just because.
You resisted, again.
Member 4 tried a softer approach with you, this time they were level 5 staff.
You resisted, again.
Member 5 went blunt and firm with their approach to try get you to understand why your vague demand to speak to management would be denied.
You once again resisted with no coherent reasoning other than you just wanted to speak to them.
Finally, member 6, another level 5 made the call to not waste any more time on you as the multitude of methods to help you understand you needed to clarify WHY you wanted to speak to management clearly weren't going to be understood by yourself.
You attempted to take these conversations to their private messages to circumvent our process and gain support within a place you believed couldn't possibly be shared.
It was the nails individually placed to seal your fate.
This wasn't what you wanted, you couldn't accept you don't get to cry wolf.
The move was then to try rally support and empathy by posting in every single courts ticket that the staff team were aggressive and you were never coming back.
Here is some information for your next appeal,
You crashed out and DM'd 9 people, (likely more however we have concrete evidence of 9) to recruit them ooc to join your law firm.
You left the law firm and started your own, due to an ooc discussion where you believed this was an IC argument.
Wasted almost a week of the staff teams time collectively.
Created a private discord to share screenshots of your ticket contents cropped without the full context and tried to rally a group together to collectively spout shit over the RPUK staff team.
(Yes, we all saw every lie and insult you typed)
You finally got your management ticket.
Instead of a 1 month cooldown you got 6 months for your own good.
Being so obsessed and angry isn't healthy.
From your appeal I don't believe you're truly sorry for doing it, just sorry you got caught.
You and all your other discord accounts can try again in the new year.
01/01/2026
I will not be allowing my fellow team to dedicate any time on you this holiday period.
Your management ticket rules stay in place
You need a break, im giving it to you.
If you attempt to contact any member of staff, make a ticket regarding this ban or in general cause trouble and be annoying. This ban will be elevated to a community ban.
If you did not know, this means the door is shut unless myself or anyone else is in the mood to entertain you.
