I am writing to appeal the ban issued on my account due to transferring vehicles between characters on behalf of a friend. When this happened, I genuinely did not realize this was against the rules. It was also my friends first day in the city. But, that said, I completely understand that being unaware is not a valid excuse, and I take full responsibility for my actions - I should have spent more time reading through the rules at the beginning and also using common sense in a situation like this, as looking back - it's quite obvious that this isn't something that should be done.

This is my first experience with a GTA RP server, and I was still learning the ropes of how things work. Since i've been banned, I have taken the time to read and familiarize myself thoroughly with the server rules. I now have a much clearer understanding of what is and isn’t allowed, and I will make sure that nothing like this happens again.

I really enjoyed my time on this server and made a lot of good friends, which I'd like to rejoin and continue my characters journey.

You are correct, being unaware of rules is not a valid excuse, can you tell me what it says to tick before making your character?

Hello Mark, I appreciate you getting back to me. Yes, the only thing I helped transfer between characters was vehicles. But for transparency, my friend sent me 50k from a bin run he had done with me prior. I did not transfer that money back to him or do anything else with it, but I understand it's still important to mention. And regarding the rules, before creating my character, I did tick the box confirming I had read them. At the time, I did skim through them rather than reading them as thoroughly as I should have, and that was a mistake on my part. Since this situation happened, I’ve gone back and read all the rules carefully in full. Thanks again for considering my appeal.

Are you sure that you only just helped transfer the vehicles?

Hi Mark, Thanks for the quick response, In regards to the vehicle, i never helped, i fully carried out the action which i will take full responsibility for. I have since reflected on my actions and i will cover why this was wrong on my next point.G2.9 - Transferring money or items between your own characters is not allowed by any method. - By doing this, it provided an unfair advantage to a new character, being a roleplay server, everyone should have the same start. When i done this, it gave my friend an unfair advantage. I never realised at the time you couldn't just start fresh by using your previous earnings from another character, this is because i failed to read the rules despite agreeing to saying i had when making my character, after thoroughly reading the rules I understand this is wrong.G3.5 - Using information you have gained through the play of other characters to influence the course of roleplay, either directly or passing this information to a 3rd party to tell your character -We discussed doing this OOC then used these actions IC. Again, not only does this give an unfair advantage, but we connected through previous characters to new ones, essentially connecting the two which can cause issues not just for us within RP, but other players who may know us based on the clothes we wear or the cars we drive. Please be assured, I have thoroughly read the rules and i have a proper understanding of how RP should go within city. If i am lucky enough to be allowed another chance, Roleplay will be my number one priority going forward.

I am happy with the explanation of the rules, however I am not fully convinced the vehicles were the only thing you helped transfer to your friends different character, since you have admitted to discussing to do what you were going to do OOC this shows me that you know more than you're letting on.

So I will give you one final chance, what else other than the vehicles did you assist in transferring between his characters?

Hi Mark, Thanks for the response, there was a variety of Items within the boot of the vehicles that were transferred. I can’t remember exactly what these items were however I know there was a sum of money, repair kits, weapons, and potentially other items. Please be aware I am not trying to deceive staff in any way shape or form. I understand there are logs for every item that is dropped and picked up, I understand everything leaves a paper trail. I am extremely grateful my application is being considered, and I would be thrilled to have the privilege of gaining another chance on the server. I apologise if I have come across deceptive during the appeal process.

If I were to let you back what would you do with your character? What journey are you thinking of exploring for your character?

Hi Mark,Thanks for getting back to me. I plan to start to build my characters story, I met some friends before my immature, incompetent and thoughtless actions, I plan to re-engage with them and see where the roleplay will take me. I would also like to potentially work as a mechanic at some point down the line, maybe even join the police....Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my appeal, please be assured I will not make a mistake like this again. My roleplay will be of a very high standard at all time.

Right so, as this is your first ban and your record is clean otherwise, I want to give you another chance however with this chance you will have to keep in mind the Fair Ban System (FBS) ANY ban you get within the 6 months from 22/07/2025 - 22/01/2026 will land you back onto a permanent ban.

I hope not to see you back here and I hopefully look forward to seeing you do more with your characters.
